When it first came out nearly 20 yrs ago it was almost 9k then
Am I the only one who’s shocked by this price tag? 🤯😳 Why is it so expensive?
Thought it was just me…half the bag for twice the price!?
Because when it came out in 2005 it was already priced at over 8k. Scroll up. Nearly 20 yrs later how much do you expect the price to be, given Hermes and it's a JPG creation,
I’m not doubting you at all, I’m just asking why it’s priced that way. I find that H bags are generally priced based on the materials and craftsmanship and not so much “well this one is special so that’s just how much we charge”

Back then it was more expensive than the 35 birkin and believe it or not, majority loved this style more than the kelly pochette (another jpg creation).

We shopped with our SA last night and the price quoted us was nowhere near $28k. The 29cm is 15ish and the 39cm is still under $20k.
What colors did you see? I’ve seen photos of the small version in black and the large one in a purple/plum. And of course some in leather and toile or other fabric.
He was the creative director at Hermès from 2003 to 2010. I believe this included RTW, bags and shoes.
