I'm sorry, I would NEVER sell a classic bag, like a Chanel jumbo flap, for, of all things, a Balenciaga. Perhaps an Hermes but not a Balenciaga. However, if you prefer the latter, then you should go for it. You have to be happy, not me.

If it is your only Chanel handbag I agree with posters that suggest you keep it, save for the B bag. Your lovely little ones will grow and your preferences may change. In a few years that beautiful jumbo may be what you need to brighten your day! Considering the continued price increases replacing the jumbo later may be had to do at a later date.

It is the only one you have and the price will increase even higher. A Balenciaga bag is much more easier to access as the price is much lower and will not go up so extremely in the future. And who knows if a Chanel classic will be easy to get in the future, maybe only by long waiting lists or for customers who spend a fortune on their clothes, etc... (don't want to sound negative, but all the recent price increases and overall attitude concerned me a bit...)

Hi ladies! I decided that i will keep my beloved Chanel and save for the Balenciaga. You ladies knocked some sense into me and am not letting go of my beautiful bag. I am now saving up for my Balenciaga. Hopefully in about 2 months i can purchase it!! Yay!! Thank you ladies for your wonderful advice!!
