That's how I feel about it! I can enjoy the zebra print tote - especially as a travel bag - but not have to worry about it. It seems resilient and it was inexpensive and it looks good!
I bought one of those MFF signature packable nylon travel bags that Coach has been selling and I returned it. It was just kind of flimsy and blah IMO - besides the "puddle problem." But the zebra print is lightweight but tough and stylish.
Thanks! Is the zipper a problem with the patent tote? It seems like you need 2 hands to close the breakaway zippers.

I have the zebra e/w tote, and I really wish i got the n/s or phoebe in that print. the fabric is soooo nice.
I have the diagonal pleated tote that has the breakaway zipper. I just don't zip open all the way to the end, so it's easier to zip close with 1 hand.

This is a very great bag. I own this n a few ones n leather. You woll love. She so easy to carry n very light

Thanks! I am surprised that I liked an animal print fabric bag but that one has a great look! It would be so light weight in a swing pack, good choice!
Wise words! I have made poor bag choices on impulse in the past - usually because it was a great deal. That's why I am determined to try these out a bit at home first before cutting the tags.
I will see how they feel on my shoulder and decide if the puddling is too much of a big problem or if I can't stand the breakaway zipper.
Even though they were a great price, $100 is still real money and I don't need a closet stuffed full of bags that I don't wear!

Thanks, I will try that with the zipper. They had zebra print phoebes in clearance at the outlet yesterday. I'm thinking that they were also $99 but I am not sure about that.

Not really, since the bag is big enough that you don't have to open it all the way to take something out. I have that problem with the mini tanner, where the zipper breaks apart every time I get my wallet out and I hate it but love the functionality of the mini tanner, so I just deal with it. With the tote, you won't have this problem. Try it a little bit around the house. Put your stuff in and pretend a few times that you need to open it to get something out of it. That would give you an idea of the behavior.
What I like about this tote is the size, straps are the perfect length, is so lightweight and because of the patent leather, perfect for even rainy days. Ah, and don't forget the color. Love the crimson color! Patent crimson was the first one I got.
I'm thinking now of switching into my patent ultramarine.
I have the madison tote in persimmon, black, and the purple patent (don't remember the exact Coach name for the color)...and I love all three. I am not a fan of the zebra - my outlet had several of the Kelsey zebras last week - I love Kelsey but just couldn't pull the trigger because of the print. So my vote is Madison patent...I think you live in the Chicago area?, think about how awesome that crimson tote would make you feel on a cold, snowy day! I am in NH so I know how it would make me feel!
