I agree with you spit_fire69. I recently went into the Madison store looking for Barenia "In the Pocket" accessories and was told by the SA that all orders to the U.S. were cancelled as there is insufficient stock. And these were not even bags!

Small SA tip for you Short Hills types...Sarah from the Bergdorf scarf counter is going to be working at the new boutique. She is a fabulous SA - we've had a phone relationship for awhile now (as I live in Calif)!!

Am I comprehending what the SA said -- no new merch is coming to the U.S. due to inefficient stock? If I am interpreting that correctly, why not just close up in the U.S.? If you're not going to stock the boutiques, then why pay utilities, rent and salaries? This really makes no sense.

The SA was only referring to In the Pocket Barenia items before the holiday season.
