Have been reading all your lovely offers and today I received a surprise offer, Kelly cut in rose d'ete in swift and silver hardware. Anyone know if Kelly cut is hard to come by now? I wanna get a black or neutral color coz I don't think I'll get a second kelly cut. Mentioned to my SA months ago that I wanna get a K28 or Kelly pochette or Kelly Cut and he managed to track one down. Just wonder whether color is too light and if I'm able to get another one if give up on this.

They are hard to come by. I’ve been waiting for one for about 3 years now. Unless it’s a crazy color that’s totally not up your alley I’d say grab it and move on.

They come around but not all the time. My store gets them sometimes, and then there is a drought. You should definitely wait for the exact color you want.

Thanks for your reply. I like pink too, just I'm in my early 40s and wonder whether rose d'ete will be too girly.. Also if it needs high maintenance.

They are hard to come by. I’ve been waiting for one for about 3 years now. Unless it’s a crazy color that’s totally not up your alley I’d say grab it and move on.

I heard it's hard but not sure it's indeed so rare... 3 years sounds so long.. I told my SA that no yellow/orange then he tracked this. Pink is my color so maybe I should go and check it out. I got a rose azalee silk-in in epsom and I love it. Thanks again

Based on my conversation with many SA's, they aren't easy to come by at all and of course more difficult if you're specific about the color you want. I have a blue electrique / GHW in swift and definitely one of my favorite bags. When I got mine, I just happened to ask and my SA told me they will be getting the BE soon and she will put me on the list - I happened to love this color so I think for me it was luck. My SA told me they only get a couple of them a year.

I was in Beverly Hills last year visiting and had a nice conversation with a SA there. We were talking about my collection and when I told her I had a KC she was actually very surprised and also told me they are hard to come by, although not impossible.

Kelly cuts are very hard to come by too where I am. I think it's a combination of not that many shipments plus lots of people wanting them. Obviously things can be different depending on where you are...but I also say you should at least go check it out in person.

It's not. My SM just did the buying, she told me the "So Pink" collection is in a colour called Rose Mexican, which is a very very bright pink, not a pastel pink like rose confetti.

I see. The rodeo in all pink I saw online wasn't in a bright pink though

honestly, ladies, we have to stop this “too old for a certain color?” thinking. We are still putting arbitrary rules on ourselves. There are plenty of 20 year old women for whom any shade of pink is too girly. It’s not an age issue, just style and personal taste.

Congrats on getting the color you want and it's indeed very lucky. I saw a black KC available in local reseller also but they charge 50% more!!

Yes . But you know for sure that one of the so Pink will be yours at the end of the year. That will pay off the waiting game( mine will be K25) and today just pick up my so pink pm rodeo.

GP36 vert amande negonda. Never really considered GP but kept bugging my SA to see anything in this seasonal colour.

It's on reserve but wondering if I should save for something else. Given I travel a lot and my larger bags are black, warm brown and burgundy, it would be a nice addition...

I love pink and I don’t think the color is too light vs say rose sakura. Do you like silver hardware though? For me I prefer ghw.

Important thing is don’t settle. Yes I think kelly cut is rare but I also believe you can get black with ghw if that is the combination you like best and you are prepared to wait.
