Hammered is more casual and shows scratches less if you stack. Guilloche can have a dressier look and scratches will
Show More easily if stacked. Hammered may be harder to find. Depends entirely on your needs and preferences.
Thank you so much for your reply. I was able to find the hammered one yesterday. I haven’t received it yet, so I have not seen it in person other than SA pictures. I was just wondering if I should of gone for the guilloche one?.

This being the case, I vote that you should try the six motif magic. I love the GMP version, and it’s the only alhambra I wear. I clicked on the link you provided, and I was drawn to post #6  where the bride was wearing the six and not the ten motif. This is bc IMO only, the ten motif is the Alhambra version of a pearl choker. The six is quirky and playful and can be both fun and elegant. Just my two cents

in exchange for all this advice, we want your action pics bc we are nosy and curious lol  ahave fun deciding !

it may be a bit too OT, but both the six motif magic and pearls can be casual; theyre not just dressy. With shorts, athleta travel cargo pants (the middle pic is literally my airplane outfit), and a t shirt and sneakers.

Coming back to this thread since I got so many recommendations to go with pearls so I thought I'd do a quick update. (Probably not going long into this since this is VCA thread after all)

I tried pearls for the first time in my life a few weeks ago, and they actually didn't feel out of place on me. The iridescence is beautiful. South sea pearls are probably out of budget for now for something I cannot really wear daily (lifestyle is still way too casual for this), so I will probably go with akoya.

Now I am debating between two options:

a simple strand necklace vs. a convertible one.
The convertible one has a diamond clip that can be clipped anywhere so I can make it into a really long strand necklace as well. It's absolutely beautiful in person, but I'm not sure if simpler is the way to go here for the wedding.
