I was wondering since the weight is heavy is it worth getting?Here are some shots with my Guilloché from back in 2019. I haven’t been wearing it as much as the weight is quite heavy for me

I personally don’t find it heavy. In fact, true confession here, I bought a second one and wear them together for a 20-motif necklace. It makes an amazing statement. I haven’t worn or tried on a 10-motif with stones, so I can’t make a comparison. If you can I suggest trying on the necklace and judging for yourself. I am tall with a slim but athletic build, if that helps.

Quick question, how do most of you wear the 10 motif as a choker? I've been debating between a 10 and 20 motif (worn wrapped double around the neck), but in some of the pictures I've seen the 10 motif can dangle loosely and be too big to be a choker. Do you guys clip it at 9 motifs and leave one dangling or do you get links taken out?
If I could do it over again, I would get the MOP in YG. I am still waiting to order the 10 motif in YG hammered.
at this moment in my life, i do not prefer a choker look usually. i just dont feel comfortable with something choking my neck. however, it depends on what i am wearing as well. for flexibility, i have extended my 10 motif to the max, so that i can clip at 9 motifs if i want it choker-length . but usually i wear it on the fullly extended length for comfort. or i make it 10+5 motif
Hey everyone I’ve been thinking of adding a ten motif to my collection but I’m so stuck because there are so many beautiful pieces from guilloche, agate, MOP and hammered gold which one is the best choice? If you could do first to last choice that would be amazing
Which pieces do you currently own? What role are you looking for the 10 motif to play in your collection? What attributes are most important to you in choosing which stone or metal to go with?
I'm biased because I only have hammered gold...it's easy everyday wear, no fuss, and goes with everything.
I’d do MOP or YG hammered as a first and only if you want 1 piece. They are both neutral. One is softer and more lightweight for daily wear- the MOP. The YG hammered is easy and no fuss, as @lisawhit mentioned, but it is not as light and you have to like the hammered look. I love the hammered, but I think you can’t go wrong with either of these, and can be worn with jeans or an evening event. Good luck!
Honestly I love the look of MOP for the 10 motif but ultimately, it came down to durability so I ended up getting the yg hammered. This I can wear anytime, anywhere and don’t have to worry about water, or even getting scratches on it as it is very carefree and looks the same as day 1.
My vote goes to the hammered gold 10 motif. It’s suuuupee durable. I had my newborn spit up on it and all it needed was a rinse!
