Distressed is one thing but the straps look so cracked they might snap in half. I feel so bad for the poor thing, I don't really see what could be done to make it better.

I know, how did this happen to the chèvre inside? I have never seen leather in a non box crack and dry like that, and for that matter even box bags to crack are much, much older than this bag. What is going on, and how in the world is the bidding over $4000 with time to go?! Are people crazy, because the bag can not be structurally sound with that entire panel like that?!

Talk about a disaster. Goes to show you that Ardennes is such a hardy leather, it stayed strong while the chevre, not so much

maybe that lining was lambskin not chevre, and since lambskin is very delicate, it ripped.

I saw this one too! The only explanation for the bids are that the poor bidders didn't view all of the pictures! I looked at it myself, then saw the inside...NO NO NO!
