Uh oH! I tried for an authentication but was told I needed to do it prior to purchase and I had just payed for it about an hour before I received a reply (totally my fault.
A couple of screen shots, I have a return window, I appreciate your help!
Is it possible the seller is wrong about the leather like Chamonix?

The pictures are really insufficient for any authentication. Suggest you ask a paid service when you have it in hand.

Will do, thanks so much! Can you recommend a reputable authenticator? I appreciate your help on this one. Should I post a link here to the sale? I'm wondering now if its actually Vache Liegee..

Sorry, but I feel that as a moderator here, it's a conflict of interest for me to recommend any authenticators (or at least, I a feel that it is!).

I understand completely, can you tell as to the blindstamp, is it possible it is just a different leather? The seller listed it as Vache, but did not specify Natural or Leigee etc, I just assumed, based on appearance that is was VN. Thanks so much, and I will look into finding an authenticator. :smile1:

I can't tell anything about it - the photos are exceptionally poor, taken from odd angles and too far away to make out detail - sorry.

Poor dear, she looks so thirsty and ratty, like a neglected little puppy :( I sort of want to adopt her but there are spots here and there that look dry rotty.

It's so painful to look at!! I couldn't post a picture in the thread.

Etsy sellers are almost all delusional about H pricing. They see "Hermès" and they assume it's worth 4 or 5 digits. I love Etsy otherwise though...some amazing finds there, especially jewelry designers, but there's a forum thread for that! xo

Train Wreck or Stylish Vintage

I know the original posts were four months ago , but I just want to weigh in with my very polarised view of Amazonia after reading the comments .
The bag posted is indeed beyond redemption, but please don't write off the Amazonia Garden Party ! I adore mine and use it more than my other Hermès bags including my BBK
I happen to like the character , of which there is loads,and have lots of positive remarks from folk whose opinion I value . Mine is weathered , but has a fascinating patina IMO. The shelf life is obviously limited but that suits me , I'll grab another ;)
At the sides it has started to crack and admittedly the tiny white areas of canvas peeking through are not adding to its charms. I'll try some brown polish or dye on them .
Meanwhile I plan to find a replacement for when mine is too far gone ,it;s just the best bag I've ever had and feels part of me!
Obviously I'm not the matchy girly type ,my H bags are all vintage except for an Evelyne and that's from preference .
But if you like a bag with oodles of attitude, grab an Amazonia!
