Yikes it is decomposing!

Please pardon this if it's not allowed ...She could easily go black:graucho:

oh I see - and pig skin is very resilient as well isnt it? I lost my nerve though docride and decided to leave the train wrecks to the professionals who know what they are doing. I did a good job with the vintage CHANEL as you advised me, but that was in nice condition to begin with. (I got compliments from CHANEL boutique about that - they said 'thought it was less than 2 years old' ''what a fantastic bag') A kelly is a lot of money though to buy something and not know what to do with it.

Very true a Kelly or Birkin purchase is going to be pricey even for a train wreck. However, a train wreck at a good price which has only some cosmetic concerns, but is otherwise structurely sound can be a lot of fun. In such a case IMO it's well worth stepping into that territory called train wreck adoption.

thank you dear docride - will keep you posted. I think its ok for someone like you who is experienced and can see the potential, but for the amateur (like myself) is a little more of a worry. I will look for something that looks rescuable though. What do you think of the ones posted here? Some seem to be literally disintegrating and should be allowed to rest in peace...:graucho:
