Yes, but Frippone's miracle baby also had corners. This one can't brag about that!

Are corners important:p? You are hard to please, handle, corners, next you'll want it to actuall HOLD something, LOL!

Can't help it, I'm one of those "it's so hideous it's cute" people (and yes, I like bulldogs, too!):D

Ask Margie and GraceKelly, I make them shudder whenever a new TW is posted!!

I adore the trainwrecks! But I have two simple little rules before I buy: No rips in the body of the bag, and no paying more for a tw than for a new bag.

And "paying more" includes the cost of repair! $500 for a new handle... $700 for the straps.. it adds up quickly.

I just don't understand how bags get in this condition. Do people just not bring them in for serving or do they treat them like footballs?

I mean some bags look like they have been grossly over stuffed. Others look like they have been allowed to dry out and not have been taken in for servicing. Which I don't get. These bags cost as much as a car and I would never let a car go ten years without servicing.

Vintage leather, I thought at one point that strap replacement was 700 - I recently dug up the receipt (from this past year) and realized 300 for shoulder tabs, 400 for straps (this is for 28 BBK) - it does add up though and H was quick to remind me that replacement straps included replacing hardware and was cheaper because mine was a 28 and not a bigger bag.

I know WT! I just dont get it either.

Some train wrecks look like they were tied to a rear bumber and pulled across the road. I wouldnt mistreat an inexpensive bag - let alone a very very expensive purse!!
