I can't believe some of these bags. Does anyone else agree that sometimes these items are NOT salvageable and they belong in the garbage? They had a nice run with some interesting history I'm sure, but come on. I think I would be afraid to touch some of these without rubber gloves on!

I thought this would be a funny thread to read ... instead I find myself feeling vaguely sick at the sight of these horribly disfigured bags! I'm not joking! I am really feeling a little nauseated !!!

Wow, my life perspective must need an adjustment ...

That poor patent baby!!

I think what I love best about this thread is seeing some of them that don't have hope coming back to life. The poor cracked box though.... I think that one might be beyond hope. But who knows?

I don't look for perfect vintage bags - heaven knows I'm not perfect - why should I expect my bags to be? I just like to think that a bag can have decades of good life, with a bit of love. Even if you start off with a bit of hard living.

I'd love to find a good train wreck to prove that theory. (I just am not willing to gamble a chunk of by bag budget on the hypothesis)

Maybe with brown re-dying this could be brought back to life? But the handle really scares me

not even thinking about bidding on it, I'm happy and content with my new Kelly! but maybe someone was

The brown one I think is an 80,s fake bag, so please anyone thinking about bidding post it for the ladies on the authenticate this thread
Personally I would steer clear having been a victim of one of these in the past.
