Thank you for this. I was very curious because the youtubers I watch was sent this bag for pr. From the looks I think the leather is not for me. I like soft but at the same time structured leather.

Does anybody own the new smooth leather? Or have anything else to add after using the maestra? Does it tilt badly?

Considering getting the midi as a new work bag. I'm leaning towards the smooth leather but not sure if it's worth the extra $80.

NAM16, I totally feel you because I was in the similar shoes few months ago. The 1st Mini I received had scratches and discoloring. IMG_3986.jpg
The 2nd (replacement) was perfect, but the strap was tore off on the 3rd day. IMG_4144.jpg
The 3rd (replacement) had gaps like picture below, and Senreve told me it’s normal. I don’t think so. IMG_4202.jpg
The leather on the 4th (replacement) was super shiny, and I hated it. Plus the stitching looked very cheap. However, I was just so tired going back and forward with them. So I kept it in the closet.
From that moment I realized Senreve will never beat the quality from a true luxury brand unless they step up their games.
Note: They do have excellent customer services.

I don’t understand how they could have excellent customer service. Sounds like they are pretty shady, and I wouldn’t buy anything from them based on these posts. Plus I don’t care for the bags.

Missaggie,

Despite their bags are made in poor quality, their customer representatives are very friendly and easy to work with. As you can see, they replaced my bag three times. They covered all the shipping as well.

636DB039-E650-4322-B3DE-EC99F387E6B7.jpeg I drank the Kool-aid and initially purchased the midi size in blush from Nordstroms this past Saturday. When I got home I noticed one of the snaps was broken, as well as there was a smudge in the zipper lining. When I went to return the bag I decided to look around, given I was a bit unsure of what the quality and longevity of this bag would ultimately be. I ended up instead going with a forest green mini version that I like much better. As a backpack the larger ones are fine, but as a crossbody too boxy and bulky. The mini is perfect. Should anything happen it will go right back to Nordstrom’s.

You paid good money. Don't settle.

I get the feeling that's the way to go. Nordstrom has excellent customer service, and you know who you're dealing with.

Thanks for the intel ladies! I was just about to buy the large Maestra. Not any more!
I just returned the mini. Upon closer inspection I noticed stitching on the strap that was gaping and would sooner than later completely rip. Even more troubling was where one of the strap holders on bottom rear of bag was also gaping and I could see where the piece had been glued and come apart. Unacceptable. Anyone looking to purchase one of these bags needs to really be cognizant of the problems others have encountered. Thank goodness for the PurseForum!

I really really wanted one of these bags! Thank goodness I found this thread first. Looks to me like they have grown too big too fast and quality control can't keep up. Such a shame because it was different and seemed like it would be a keeper:annoyed:

Gorgeous! Is that the Merlot or the Bourdeaux?
Hi SusanlovesLV, it's a Merlot and it is gorgeous. I have asked the moderators to take down my posts because Senreve's customer service reached out to me and gave me the impeccable service that they are famed for. My faith is restored and I am a Senreve fan and customer for life. Looking at buying the Doctor bag next.

Hi jenjen1964, I had similar thoughts but they have been amazing since then and I want to let everyone know that. I stand behind them because they have gone out of their way to rectify the situation. I am impressed and I wish all companies were consumer-centric like Senreve.

Hi dooneybaby, Senreve reached out to me and gave me amazing customer service. They replaced my bag and I highly recommend them. My friends and my boss bought the large Maestra and are super happy with their purchase. I have the mini but I am upgrading to the Midi. Not buying the large only because I am very petite and it would be too big for my frame. I am a physician and have a toddler, and the Maestra is perfect to go from work to running behind him at the park.
