Seems to me that the rules are not applied the same to everyone. Different spanks for different ranks. Linda and some other big sellers get a pass
This. It's such BS!

I just want to second this. They do not authenticate in house but send pictures to really unreliable third party websites. They are NOT to be trusted!JMHO, but Linda*s***stuff items need to be authenticated. Although her listings claim all items are pre-authenticated prior to listing, that is untrue. There's no way some of the obvious fakes were authenticated.
And since it takes a congressional order to get Linda's fake listings removed, reports are ignored and fakes sell.
This is an example of a fake that was reported but not removed:

And this is another fake (very obvious since any Coach that's made in Korea is fake) that sold more than once!

So in answer to your question, do NOT trust Linda's stuff to be authentic.
ETA: Sorry. I just realized this is an old thread that was dredged up. But my opinion stands.
That's nice. For me the Real Real has just provided such a superior customer experience I would never go back!I've only had positive experiences buying and selling with her. Sometimes they don't update you about what's been sold, your items that she's selling for you I mean, but once you make contact they send a check right out. I've purchased many items from her and they were all better than described, some still had tags on them.
And that is how they stay in business I guess. As much as I wanted to avoid Linda's Stuff based on things I've read and fakes I've seen listed, she had an item I wanted listed at a great price. As the item was something I could authenticate myself, I was not concerned about authenticity. I made an offer that was accepted. I was a little concerned when I noticed she relisted the exact same bag, but once I paid, the duplicate listing was removed. The item was shipped quickly and was exactly as described, maybe in even better condition than described.
I often see items I want on Linda's Stuff, but the minute I see who the seller is I click back. It's not that I had a problem with something being non authentic. It was buying a $1200 Hermes bag and having it arrive folded in a box with no packing. Among other things.
Oh, they know. It was quite a while ago, but I returned the H and made a stink.I would have contacted Linda directly & made her aware of how your $1200 Hermes bag arrived.. but that's just me.
And whatever among other things was not to your liking would have shared those thoughts
with her as well..
Smart decision. I do the same thing. I trust nothing about her operation.I often see items I want on Linda's Stuff, but the minute I see who the seller is I click back. It's not that I had a problem with something being non authentic. It was buying a $1200 Hermes bag and having it arrive folded in a box with no packing. Among other things.
I've had good experiences buying & selling with Linda. There is a client code so I can keep track of what has been sold
& any issues Linda has been very happy to resolve to my satisfaction.
I've never had a problem with calling either..
I would say to anyone who has purchased from her in the past, if you don't let her know what might be wrong,
how can she correct it & make it better.
There are enough sellers out there that don't have to be contacted with complaints because they do it correctly the first time. Her business is not my problem. I don't have time for someone who can't even handle the basics. I will never buy from her again.I would have contacted Linda directly & made her aware of how your $1200 Hermes bag arrived.. but that's just me.

with her as well..

Are you affiliated with Linda's Stuff?
That's nice but you seem to be in the minority. Mine have been horrible and I will advise people to stay clear! No I am not... I have had many successful buying & consigning experiences with Linda's Stuff for many years now
& would not hesitate to make a purchase from her or to consign to her.
There are very few sellers in the marketplace that have a perfect selling history or record of not making mistakes.
We all have various experiences with dealing with sellers as has been pointed out on this forum..
