I don't know if Linda's way of doing business has changed or not, but let's face it - the girl is doing something right. Over 56,000 fb!! :wtf: Just for sheer stamina alone, my hat is off to her. If I thought I had to sell 56,000 items on eBay, I would slit my wrists with a dull spoon.

LOL, I agree, dull spoon sounds good:rolleyes:

I bought a bag from her and it was not as described--it had more wear that her description disclosed. I emailed her and she took the bag back--no questions asked and gave me a full refund.

I agree..
The seller deals in huge volume, of course mistakes are going to be made.
I've had a few run ins with buyers, where I couldn't sleep at night..I can only imagine what she must go through.:shame:
I've bought several items from her over the past 2 years, and had
to return a couple..
service was A+.

Her blocking you is a bit harsh.
Hopefully she'll get back to you.

I am afraid I had a similar experience - I bought a "gently used" Choe paddington. When it arrived I was so dissapointed! It was filthy the handles were disgusting and it had a really wierd fusty smell.I am convinced that the picture on the listing was not the same bag. There was no way I would use it. I sent her an email & within 10 minutes she was on the phone. I paid $777 fot it and she offered me $100 discount. There was no way I was going to accept that. In the end she offered a full refund. I wouldn't risk buying from her again.

I sell also, so I was always impressed by her record. I have 100% fb (for who knows how long the way things are now?), but of course, nowhere close to her volume. Selling and pleasing all kinds of buyers can be very tough. At 56,871, she has 99.5% fb (just looked her up)!! I'm still impressed!! That is many happy buyers.

What bothers me is Kristie's, Embratt's and Ihave2manybags' problems with the handbags bought from Linda. "Dirty", "covered with hair" and "used rather than new" imply to me nondisclosure and flat-out dishonesty. That bothers me a lot. However, one of her employees may have created that listing. We have no way of knowing. I do know that while I will still shop with her for items of clothing or whatever, I would no longer buy a bag from her. Disappointing.

To three_man: Still awaiting reply. :smile1:

I've had a mixed experience with Linda. I did buy several lovely Akris items, which were exactly as described, and they were shipped immediately. I then bought an expensive Loro Piana raincoat, which as described as mint, like new condition. It wasn't! There was a large stain on the lining, and when I emailed her about it, I never did get a response, which I thought was a bit rude, as I'd made multiple purchases in the past. I won't be buying from her again.

I think her items are all authentic; she ships very quickly, and the items are fairly well packed. But, she's a bit "generous" with the condition descriptions, and in my case, more than a bit lacking in communication!

Well, if people are afraid of retalitory FB (like me) they probably left her a positive (like me) even though the items were SNAD and her communication is seriously lacking KWIM???

Yes, and they were also probably just so thrilled to get a refund they left a positive. We all know how much that used to happen. It will be interesting to watch her fb now that no negs can be left for buyers. There are many neutrals on her Toolhaus link above. I have to say, I am truly surprised. I have considered buying one of her bags several different times. Although my own experience with her has been very pleasant, I have only purchased items that were $100 or less and now I'm really glad.
