I've just spoken to a SA from Mulberry in Selfridges on the phone.

Apparently the sales are going to take place from 23rd November to 26th November and then the Christmas sales after boxing day as usual.

For what he said they aren't sure how much is the discount going to be yet (roughly 20%) and they aren't sure which bags are going to be included as they are checking stock with the suppliers to see what they can have.

He did say that it's going to be mainly A/W, the core collection is not likely to be included, and obvioulsy the new S/S releases will not be taking part.

I hope this helps!

Someone correct me if Im wrong - and all 3 selfridges stores London Manchester and Birmingham may have different sales pricing policies-from past experience they do - but I think Selfridges is a wholesaler not a concession like HOF Harvey Nicks etc- they do not send bags back to Mulberry to go to the outlets?

I can remember the London store offering 50% off in past sales while Birmingham had a flat 30% off all bags?

Also when some core ranges like ledbury and roxy were discontinued they were on sale on line but not in Birmingham- they stayed full price and then I think were sold off at the sale price on line

I had a long chat to the manager in the Birmingham store one day who told me all this and that she got 50% discount off all mulberry lines while her friend in HN got 50% off mulberry but not on certain popular lines like the alexa at the time. It bugged me that the same bag was 50% off elsewhere at Selfridges but only 30% off in Brum so it has stuck in my mind.

That said unless the sales in the other stores are different to Brum I wouldnt go again- bags are just heaped in piles and its so messy -and bags get damaged in the scrum- went once wouldnt go again!!
