I love that perfume bottle. I have a small collection of perfume bottles but stopped adding to it a long time ago. The price you paid for the sunglasses makes me feel a little sick about the price I paid for glasses I bought from the Chanel boutique.
Thank you Whateve! I couldn't believe they were at Goodwill for that price. I thought the price was for an empty box, you know how crazy prices can get at Goodwill. Anyway, I purchased the bottle at a small thrift store. It had a price tag of $535 on the bottom. The price tag was covering the name. I absolutely love finding Jay Strongwater items.

I love TPF because I LEARN SO MUCH!

I had never heard of Jay Strongwater...glad to learn about this. (I had never heard of Delvaux, but thanks to TPF I recognized two vintage Delvaux purses at an estate sale and got them. Yay!)

Same here, I learn so much from my thrifting PFF's and congrats on the purses. Pics please!

Absolutely! Thank you for defending me, Whateve! This is the second Burberry they have marked as "fake" within the last two months.

Everything I post here is authentic. I take pride in my ability to recognize and identify authentic items.

Truth be told I'm feeling kind of attacked.

As for the "faux" comment - I thought (perhaps misunderstood) that she was simply commenting/cautioning on how many "faux" bags there are. I honestly didn't think much more than that.

As for "feeling attacked", I can say that there have been quite a few times I've had low key sarcastic comments thrown my way by a few individuals and Sakura hasn't "liked" any of my posts, although i have always supported her finds. It's one of the reasons why I had to step away for a while instead of calling it out. This forum shouldn't be so complicated."

My response:
It isn't always obvious to all of us what a post means...I wasn't sure if the Burberry items posted were to show/congratulate the thrift store for being honest, because of the quotation marks, or if the items were indeed genuine... I wasn't critical either way, just wasn't sure.

Personally, when it comes to posts, and texts and such I try to remember to give grace to posters, because misinterpretation is so much easier in type. I don't think anyone on this thread meant any harm to anyone.

Sorry you might have felt attacked... Also hugs to the other poster who also felt slighted.

I'm.not on TikTok...I view two week old Tictok on Instagram like a normal person.
Saw this on Instagram and thought of @jamamcg and thought they might like it.
Oh I have had some beef with that shop on Instagram. And she bought a skirt off of me. Tbh if I had known it was her I wouldn’t of sold it to her. But she does have nice stuff. But be warned. She doesn’t fully disclose the condition of the pieces. The 50’s Dior coat that she Dyed did come out quite nicely through. And she does have some nice McQueen pieces.
