Was trying to figure out what I had and had not posted and anything that I have found recently that has been much of a bargain. These were all online finds as I rarely get near stores.

Alexander McQueen embroidered skirt from 1998.

Alexander McQueen heelless shoes from 2012. These retailed for more than £4k.

Alexander McQueen bag from 2008. This bag was in pretty poor condition, but with some TLC is back looking not too bad. Lots of wear to the braiding which I cannot fix sadly, but still looks good.
That handbag gives me joy!

Ok PFF's, I need help. I found two Hermes scarves. One is silk and the other is chiffon. Where do I go to get them authenticated? I found one thread, but they would like a "currently for sale" link. Well, you know we thrift so that's not going to happen. Could someone send me the link, please? I don't know, I can't find a signature so it may very well be fake. It's a vintage scarf by Pierre Peron.

I'm SO glad you asked. I've been sitting on one myself - the Wedgwood. Not signed, as far as I can tell, but similar ones online, all have Hermès written out prominently, or in a discreet location.

Have you looked for Hermes Scarf Guides...unfortunately Geoff has been ill so has not updated in a while. But you might be able to fnid examples there.

It's a Facebook site. He used to have a site but now has only the Facebook
Thanks, I will look into it. I did find the scarf on a website, but it can't be enlarged to the point of authentication.

Well, I feel as though one of my scarves is authentic. I also found a belt, cologne, it seems to be Hermes in this place. I will continue looking. The belt says 18kt gold, but after looking at belts, it was not.

18K!! Would be amazing if real. Can you test the metal for purity?
I also found a pair of "Valentino" rock stud ankle booties, that were $2.99.
Will be using them to clean up leaves, and Racoon presents this week ;-/
