Hee hee you indulge me way too much. Here’s some of the others from yesterday.
I exchanged the Galant for this, the homage to Gene Kelly. The Galant just wasn’t making my heart sing, whereas this is finally an orange that works on me (it’s a slightly coral orange). Aren’t these also the colors you like? Have you seen this one in person?
I’m extremely tempted by this Jungle Love 70… the blues are so pretty and the brown hem is such a nice contrast.
I also tried on this one as I was ringing up and LOVED it. This is the ‘Lanternes et Ballons’, in a cw I thought was all sold out. Now I am thinking the caramel and red tones might make it a good choice for autumn.
Lastly, after being very inspired by @LKBNOLA ‘s mod shots of this, I tried on the Hermes Factory scarf and it was instant obsessive love, so this one also came home with me. This is the ‘jewel tones’ sort of colorway that I’ve been coveting, and I adore both sides of it.

I do find the double face ones worth the price, I love jewel toned scarves too...they sort of shimmer in real life.

I’m going to jump right in. Lanternes et Ballons in that colourway on you is perfection. I love it!! I have another cw of Jungle Love and am really loving the stamped version with all the pretty flowers and animal details.
I am stalking the Eleftheria and Toucans 140 silks but they have not arrived in store yet. I’m curious about whether I’ll get along with this format. I’m also trying not to stalk Alice Shirley designs that I missed as the reseller price is often ridiculous and I’m trying to convince myself that there will always be gorgeous designs issued every season. I’m impatiently waiting to see more sneak peeks of next season’s designs too!
I forgot to add: Great choice on Homage to Gene Kelly! It completely brightens your complexion and seems easy to wear.

I didn’t get the Jungle Love … yet. I do really like it tho. It might be inevitable, I just feel silly because I have a bunch of blue already.
Thank you!!! It is such a fun one. I’m typically obsessed with this kind of orange and I’m glad to see Hermes has it. Ideally my first Hermes bag will be this color. They have a Bolide displayed on the website right now which looks about the same tone.

Ooh, I didn’t realize they were doing 140 silks soon! That’s exciting. I don’t have one of those yet but have been considering a wash version preloved. And you say Toucans is coming? Like, this same design of Toucans? (obv I realize the colorways would likely be different)
Which Alice Shirley designs are you stalking? I gave in and bought the Sous le Charme D’Orphee preloved. It’s the only preloved one I have right now and it was an eBay buy but fortunately worked out ok.
Yes, Toucans de Paradis was reissued this season in a 140cm silk twill. They popped up on the US site a few days ago where there was also a blue cw as well as a coral you might like:
Ahh Alice Shirley designs… basically I’m a sucker for colour, pretty flowers and animals so pretty much all of them - Tyger Tyger, Dans Un Jardin Anglais, Under The Waves, Wild Singapore, Into the Canadian Wild, Appaloosa des Steppes, Jaguar Quetzal… I have a Zebra Pegase in a Giant Triangle but struggled with the cws of Sous Le Charme d’Orphee so I didn’t pick one up last season.
Jan Bajtlik and Aline Honore are another rabbit hole for me. I’m still looking for Plumes En Fete.
Yeah she has so many amazing ones. I have missed out on many of the ones you mention also. I just learned that the Charme D’Orphee will be reissued for this fall so maybe there will be a new colorway that works for you!
Thanks for the alert on the Toucans shawl, I can’t believe it’s already up and I missed it. I think I assumed everything was already out for SS23, as I didn’t ‘discover’ the collection til late March I think. Is this the colorway you were describing as coral, or was there another one?
It seems to be typical of H lately to draw out the releases until the end. I remember waiting until November last season to see some designs / cws!
I meant this one as the coral Toucans. It’s cw05 and described as Corail / Bleu Jean / Crème.

Congratulations on the new scarves, they are very lovely! I really like the coral one, like you guessed. I think it really lift ups your face. I have not seen that one IRL. The Jungle Love is really nice too, better than the Rendez Vous Galant you returned imo.
And I love that Lanternes! Such beautiful colors... It would be amazing with that gorgeous Bolide.. What an amazing color that bag has! If you ever get one, come and show it to us please

Like GloWWOrm, I am waiting to try the 140 silk Eleftheria in green and Toucan in light pink or other cw.
I also love the Retour a la nature in the blue - pink - orange cw 09....
And the costume de fete is still on my mind, as well as the new legende brodée in black...
So many temptations lol
Oh thank you!!! In the end, I haven’t purchased any of the five I originally posted about lol. Got too distracted by things available in the boutique and which I could try on in person. I did buy that Lanternes that I shared above.
