Scarfdecisions… mod shots of these colorways?

I think the navy La Selle imaginiare would look lovely on you too! A kind of crossover for pink and blue lovers alike lol.

I can see what you mean for the Sacré de Saisons. I agree with GloWWorm that the navy and orange CW might be a better fit?

If you find the time, could you please share some mod shots of le Rendez-vous galant in daylight? I love the blues and pinks in that one. And perhaps also Hermes Story? Would love to see the brown.

Is there anything else on your list for now?

Per your request, here are some mod shots of the Rendez-vous Galant. I find the bright blue sky a little at odds with the rest of the scarf, but when folded you can basically always hide it if you want.

@redheaddem here also are some mod shots of the Hermes Story in brown and blue. I don’t know that I have taken better pics than are already available in the SS22 thread, but here they are regardless. The scarf is simply luminous.

It’s cloudy out today so the light is not great. First two are with natural light, and the third one has the overhead light on.

Ooh thank you! They are both lovely choices and suit you do well!

Lol so, at this point I think I’ve abandoned the idea of most of the scarves that I initially posted about. To the point that someone made earlier, it’s really hard to know what will look good on you until you try it on. Two of the ones I was able to try on, I didn’t like, and now I’m hesitant to buy pre-loved if I’ve never been able to see something on me. (#firstworldproblems)

@redheaddem and @LKBNOLA , today I tried on these GTs. I’ve been stopping myself from getting the Bal de Soie because of waiting for the Cheval Vague, but now I am thinking the Bal de Soie does look better? There’s more gray-beige in the Cheval Vague and I’m not sure it does much for my complexion.

Of course, I am biased because I own the Bal de Soie! Perhaps it is just the white tee detracting from the Chaval Vague, but I honestly think it is washing you out a bit with all the cream and grey. Just my two cents.
As for the other point you make @Jereni, I only purchased from Fashionphile, The Real Real and other sellers who permit returns when I first began collecting for exactly the reason you mention. A "grail" colorway is not always a grail *on* you and that can be so disappointing-- not to mention expensive it if you can't return it. So that is one alternative.

Thank you both @LKBNOLA and @Ladybaga !!! For some reason, that’s the one that when I put it on, I think ‘yes that feels like me’ for some reason.

Last question for now, what do we think of this one? I was also pretty sure I was going to like this going in, but the orange and green are MUCH more vivid than I was expecting. Draped like this I like it but I wonder if the bright colors are working on me? This is the Index Bromeliaceae.

Oh, my @Jereni. I own this one. It is a beauty. Probably out of your comfort zone since you prefer the more muted cws. Here's mine:

I believe @scarf1 has this cw and @Cookiefiend has the brown one with white border. I love the background blue and border and I think the brights save it from being too sedate... I find the brights work for me because they are very clean and clear in tone. Do you have any other Katie Scott designs? Her botanicals are wonderful...

This is beautiful on you, as well! I like how the lighter colors balance out the green and orange. You both look amazing!!

Thank you for sharing the sample ties and mod shots! It’s a stunning scarf on you, I think I like it better on you than on me

I love the design of this one so much, I am tempted to buy it and hang it lol.

Thanks for the mod shots! Another vote for the Bal de Soie - it’s fantastic on you. I like the colourway of Index Bromeliaceae on you, but it’s not a design that I’m particularly in love with. If you like it, the colour works great on you.

Agree with @LKBNOLA, I would only buy pre-loved / from a reseller that accepted returns as the condition could also not be as described.

Ooh thank you for the photos!

They are both lovely but I prefer the Bal de Soie on you as well. The Cheval seems to make you fade away a bit... The design is lovely, but the color way is a bit too muted maybe? It this cw 04? If it is, it definitely looks different online.

I am biased however, I have a hugh crush on Bal de Soie. I loved the vermilion on me and want to try the blue one as well, yet need to be reasonable lol.

I am personally not in love with this design, although it is lovely of course. But I do think some pops of brighter colors suit you. It brightens your face. If you are comfortable wearing this type of colors, give it a try!

Thank you for the feedback!!! It’s weird, with the Index B - the design I love, and I love the colors in the picture. But other scarves that I tried on yesterday just felt more ‘me’, fundamentally. And I’m trying to go with the mentality of ‘only buy it if you love it so much you’d wear it out of the store.’ I read that somewhere in the forum and I feel like it was a really good point.
