Sorry for the grainy photo and for the badly tied scarf. I wore my La Vie Sauvage du Texas for the very first time last evening for my daughter's high school awards banquet. I was running super late when I decided to take this out of the box. I had no time to tie it properly, let alone take a decent picture! Somehow I thought it looked acceptable in person, but looking at this photo, not so much anymore! LOL!

I'm thinking it may fit into the theme of green and/or pastel, so I'm sharing it here anyway ;-) thanks!

Making this longer than it needs to be, but I wanted to add that even though I have not been good at commenting here lately, I still make sure to check in and look at all the wonderful SOTD photos!

Look at those details on the henna... This is why I love H scarves!

Some green and some pastel pink - Halte en Camargue
The bird motif is so pretty on your scarf merika!

Well, I for one think you look great hoot!

A little pastel and a little green makes the brighter parts work even better. Congrats on your lovely MD pressie!
Thank you so much papertiger, it is such a fun scarf to tie!

Some of my pastels (or should that be 'pastels' in some cases?)

Oh my an amazing collection papertiger, and you absolutely must wear your CDC MT, it is so elegant!

hoot, just lovely on you. I have the pink one.

Thanks, Croisette7! I narrowed my choices down to the pink and grey one. Although I do love my grey one, I still second guess myself because the pink one is so beautiful too!

Hahaha! Thanks so much MrsWasik and Bova123! I really appreciate the compliments. I know it's not all that bad. Normally I would fiddle around a bit to see which parts of the scarf I want shown and take my sweet time getting it tied. And then I'd take more than one photo to choose from! ;-) I just felt bad I didn't have time to do all that. (This scarf was holding air and poofing up big time! lol) thanks again!

I very nearly bought Hipp - it's the most amazing design. Is this the cw with the blue horses?

This is the pale blue background Hippopolis with white (no-color) horses -- the one that the H website featured in this little video:
https://vimeo.com/144620281
(and no, there's not a horse with green pants on the scarf!)
I also have the dark version with the brown horses, which I think is more "me" than the pastels.

Beautiful contributions to Theme Week, papertiger -- I need to renew my hunt for CdH!

That's exactly what goes through my mind when I see some of the treasures that folks here display. I'd say about a third of my H scarves were purchased after seeing another tpfer's mod shot. My mind freezes and goes: "I gotta find that design or something in that cw!"

Lol xincinsin! I'm glad I'm not the only one this happens to!

I have been MIA due to travel dear silkies. Met up with two delightful east coast pals for tea and macaroons (first time at Lauderee) and then they both graciously accompanied me to H on Madison. DH went on a tour of the town to give me time to browse and shop at my leisure on our last day.

Had to stop in to see the ManusXMachina exhibit at the Met - one of the best shows I've seen on fashion and technology including a lovely showing of Raf Simons dresses for Dior during his all too short duration at the house. Please watch the terrific documentary Dior and I. I found it really interesting to see how a collection is developed and staged.

And my two scarf goodies, Manufacturers and Zenobie along with my green theme silk that I wore during my trip Ors Bleus d'Afrique. Have a great holiday weekend all!
