Sorry for the grainy photo and for the badly tied scarf. I wore my La Vie Sauvage du Texas for the very first time last evening for my daughter's high school awards banquet. I was running super late when I decided to take this out of the box. I had no time to tie it properly, let alone take a decent picture! Somehow I thought it looked acceptable in person, but looking at this photo, not so much anymore! LOL!

I'm thinking it may fit into the theme of green and/or pastel, so I'm sharing it here anyway ;-) thanks!

Making this longer than it needs to be, but I wanted to add that even though I have not been good at commenting here lately, I still make sure to check in and look at all the wonderful SOTD photos!

I love this scarf! Lovely photo.

Thank you so much ABQ and Croisette! Mousse plisse is not seen often. I've only seen 2 or 3 so far. Passiflores a few times, this Musique des Spheres and a dark one, I think it was Couvee.

Love that little bit of green detailing on it. It gives a nice contrast in the composition. Musique has more green detailing too than I thought once you open it up!

bunny - you have such a great eye for details and for finding the rare ones too. not seen a mousse plisse before. though I think there are companies in france that will plisse any silk scarf you wish. Thanks for sharing yours.

DH almost took a posting to Calcutta when we got married but it didn't pan out.

A mouse for you, bobkat1991, to remember your outfit by :flowers: This one is quivering because a baby dragon is eyeballing it :giggles: Pale green SOTD Cendrillon - I love the swirls and the fancy ummmm... turkeys?

lovely montage xincinsin! Very pretty green cendrillon!

Some green and some pastel pink - Halte en Camargue

Thank you lanit! I think I just occasionally get lucky! (And am grateful for that!)

In general, soft greens and pastels and I are not often on good terms....but I do have a couple that fit this week.

Meant to post this one I wore yesterday, which has some very pretty spring green tidbits, and the overall effect is soft tones because its a plisse and also a mousse.

and then today a gavroche with plenty of soft greens and pastels...I didn't wear it for a while because of the pastels and thought I might be getting ready to send it along in to the wide world, but of course, now I love it again....

Carpe Diem (this one is the Carpe Diem version rather than the Gloria Soli one)

Oh these are both just so satisfying to look at! And I had no idea that moussie Plisse even existed!

These are such pretty pictures and I love the color harmony!

Oh what a cute little moussie!! Mice in my home now are referred to as "cat food".

Don't be so hard on yourself! Your scarf, and you, look very pretty!

Thank you bobkat!!! They do exist! Just not very often...

I think this qualifies as pastel......Swing by Julie Abadie.

Absolutely! This is serene

I can finally enter an on theme photo.....floaty, pastel scarf....It is Joyaux De L'Ete, in a 280 X 140 cm size.

I have just decided to let it go to a better home sometime soon - pastels and I will never be good friends, unfortunately.

I'm not sure how you can let this one go, the perfect name for the scarf too, I would have said there's a brightness to it as well as the pastel background.

What I actually wore today- my new dragonflies 70cm. The background is a really pale bleu( ciel?)
Yes, I wore that heavy sweater- it was only 60 in SF today!

:woohoo so pretty

Heading to NYC with CSGM Early America to celebrate my b-day

Happy (belated) Birthday to you, you look effortlessly elegant as always

Green: bibliothèque (two!) at work.

Love this design, wish I'd bought it in a couple of cws. You look great!

Zambeze and Bambou today for the green theme....

Lush with the bambou baby

From last year's Two-Scarf-Challenge (and a hide-the-border, too):
Provence by H Grygkar (1956 pattern, 1991 reissue)
Au Fil de la Soie by A Faivre (1995)

OMG I must find a Provence, totally enabling and looking so great as a double here

Finally getting organized to post my SOTD today...somewhat a pastel??? Ok, not really, mostly pretty bright, but I wanted to finally share my new belated Mother's day purchases from DC (my other purchase I'll post on the Ode to 70's thread). Of course our lovely Pirula, had a lot to do with me picking out this fun scarf, and I am so glad she convinced me to get it. Shown here tied a couple of different ways to show off different areas of the design, including MYH's most recent scarf tying idea on her showcase thread.

A little pastel and a little green makes the brighter parts work even better. Congrats on your lovely MD pressie!

Charmante aux animeaux. This is its first outing!

The perfect neutral pastel

OK, not much green but definitely pastel and spring-like. Retour a la Terre in a salmon/pink cw. I'm afraid I'm cheating here -- I had to change into something warmer as soon as the photo was done! Down here in NZ it's late autumn and not spring, and today has been particularly stormy and cold!

You look amazing and not cold at all :D.

Loving the corrals as well as the soft greens

Here is a pic with 2 green scarves and a pastel with just a bit of green.

Charmante aux animaux( my fav green scarf) in mousseline stole.
Au coeur de la vie 2014 re-issue ( DH's favorite green scarf, and the first scarf I bought in a boutique)
Au coeur de la vie, 2014 in pastel blue, gray with pops of green

I can't look at that ACdlV without thinking the one that got away  I'm glad you love it though

Very smart!

Hello Dear Scarfies!
I happen to have a weak spot for light greens, even if I dont get to wear it much.. it just sings to me...! :smile1:
Here a group photo of the some 90-Silks with different light greens... and one modeling one... (You know the names.... )
oh, and I almost forgot about the 140 DD... but you all have seen that one already...
Silky hugs!
P

Particularly swooning, looking at your bateaux du monde :tender:

So much beauty dear silkies! [emoji122]🏻

I don't wear a lot of green, even though I should as it's very flattering. Here's some green from last week actually. Not pastel, but hey it's green.

:ghi5: twins

My SA said I didn't need this one as I already had another 2 FaM 70s. I went back for it the next day, I couldn't get back quick enough.

bunnycat you look positively etherial in those pastels. I didn't think I could wear them either but actually my first H scarf was a pastel (pink) given as a gift and it changed my mind.

Thank you for the sweet comments, frou frou, Hat Trick, Bova123, Croisette7, CanuckBagLover, MrsWasik, scarf1, peppers90 and Katherine Q.

And so glad to know that bunnycat and eagle1002us are fellow beaders!

No wirework for this one except for the jump rings to attach clasp and ear wires. Most of the components were made on board dreary flights, so in lieu of needle, thread and scissors, I used fishing line meant for craftwork, acceptable solution in this case because the seed beads protected the line from getting cut by the much fewer crystals and bugles.

Back to topic, I'm wearing the necklace today as it goes with my other greenie: Bocage which I couldn't resist because the birdies remind me of Angry Birds :p

You're showing me scarves I've never even seen before.

I'm reaching a bit here: the Tout Coeur isn't really a pastel green but it's the best I have: :smile1:

Very pretty (love Mors)

Don't have many green scarves, but I found this one with touch of green.

That's also a Spring coloured beauty

Here's a surprisingly pastel version from last year:
Hippopolis with a little bit of green, too

I very nearly bought Hipp - it's the most amazing design. Is this the cw with the blue horses?

Some of my pastels (or should that be 'pastels' in some cases?)
