You always have such unusual scarves, bunnycat -- these are about as tender as they come. Surely mousse/plisse is a rare combination and I love the gav Carpe Diem too!

bunnycat, both are just lovely on you! And thank you for your compliment.

Twins on Sarasvati, Canuck! Chic with your cardi.

Thank you, dear Bova!

Thank you so much ABQ and Croisette! Mousse plisse is not seen often. I've only seen 2 or 3 so far. Passiflores a few times, this Musique des Spheres and a dark one, I think it was Couvee.

Here's a surprisingly pastel version from last year:
Hippopolis with a little bit of green, too

Love that little bit of green detailing on it. It gives a nice contrast in the composition. Musique has more green detailing too than I thought once you open it up!

the scarf is great, but kudos to the beading. I should pick up beading again, it is like mediation, but with a wearable outcome :smile1:

Am in total agreement. I took it up during the 5 years when I had to contend with a staff whose aim in life was not only to do as little as possible but also to claim as much credit as possible. Beading gave me an outlet for the stress because it requires total focus. Naturally, I'm now trying to figure out how to create usable, practical and beautiful beaded scarf rings :D so as to marry 2 loves.

I haven't seen a proper shawar kameez in ages!!! I used to have one in rust colored silk that I adored... unfortunately, mice also adored it just a bit too much. I lived in Pakistan for four years.

DH almost took a posting to Calcutta when we got married but it didn't pan out.

A mouse for you, bobkat1991, to remember your outfit by :flowers: This one is quivering because a baby dragon is eyeballing it :giggles: Pale green SOTD Cendrillon - I love the swirls and the fancy ummmm... turkeys?

The concentration required for developing a beading pattern and getting the length of necklace just so, and so forth, took care of many migraines for me.

Cendrillon is beautiful. What does Cendrillon mean? It looks like an early 70s pattern.

Cendrillon is supposedly the French name for the tale of Cinderella, but I have no clue how that inspired this design which is mainly floral. The scarf is from 1972 and to be honest, I bought it because it reminded me of the age of flower power :blushing:

So pretty xincinsin, and that necklace is so unique and amazing!

Sorry for the grainy photo and for the badly tied scarf. I wore my La Vie Sauvage du Texas for the very first time last evening for my daughter's high school awards banquet. I was running super late when I decided to take this out of the box. I had no time to tie it properly, let alone take a decent picture! Somehow I thought it looked acceptable in person, but looking at this photo, not so much anymore! LOL!

I'm thinking it may fit into the theme of green and/or pastel, so I'm sharing it here anyway ;-) thanks!

Making this longer than it needs to be, but I wanted to add that even though I have not been good at commenting here lately, I still make sure to check in and look at all the wonderful SOTD photos!
