Very cool!

I only have one Mcqueen scarf left now and it looks floral unless it's opened out completely, some of his designs are so beautiful.

That is absolutely beautiful. Sometimes I go to the auctions in Glasgow, these old typically Scottish pieces fetch high prices now

You are so stylish and handsome!

Such a pretty cw

I only have the silk but I love these UtW moussies

I agree. All McQueen scarves are works of art. My mom has one with red butterfly prints and I have another skull one in light grey and I still want more [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Croisette, your scarf collection truly amazes me! We are twins on the black/bright pink/bright green Pavois! I was thinking I had nothing for this week - largely because I tend to shy away from the more traditional designs. But Ponts de Paris - now that is another story!! I love that pattern to bits - I have 3 or 4 to wear and even bought one to be made into a tote bag. I should get that sent off so that I can post a scarf tote for SOTD!!

thanks to all for sharing your beauties this week !

So very pretty. :hbeat:

This is just lovely alexahoffmann.

Thank you peppers! :smile1:

Thank you Pirula! :hugs:

Lovely colours on you and those earring are amazing

AM is dreamy and wonderful as is that lizzie CDC

Cosmos is on my list too but the colour has to be right, this on is certainly beautiful on you

Thank you Papertiger! I love many CW's of this scarf. The design arrangement always has a nice "glowing" feel to it with the color graduation. I could probably get away with quite a few CW's of this one but here's my two laid flat.

My other Ledoux. (But this one is such a favorite, I have it in two formats.) :p

Cosmos mousse gavroche tied a couple of different ways. I think one is a chou chou and the other is MaiTai's flower knot. I wore the flower for awhile then switched over to the chou chou to see how it looked.

What a great look!

What a wonderful picture - thank you for sharing, the info about Johnstons as well, will definitely look that up! Sharing your weakness for all those materials - Harris tweed holding a special place in my heart. Visited Harris a couple of years ago and was lucky enough to buy a few meters of the tweed there to make a coat and a skirt, still not decided on what style of coat though:smile1:

I was thinking about the availability of Harris tweed when all this discussion of Scotland came up.

A hacking jacket, a classic style, would look great in that Harris tweed. And some suede or velvet accessories. . . What a great fabric to have for a jacket project!

I like it in the chou chou knot. I addition to being the queen of scarf rings, you are also the mousse queen.

Notice the luckenbooth brooches of double hearts in the lower left, Croisette7. It's a Scottish love token and when the heart is curved inward on the bottom, it's a form called a Witch's heart. I found an interesting site for those who want to find out more:
http://www.jewelrynerd.org/1/post/2...-how-didit-influence-heart-jewelry-today.html

Or just google What is a witch's heart and how did it influence heart jewelry today.
Fascinating. Thank you so much eagle. It's this kind of info which makes this thread such a winner!

It really does! Completely fabulous!

Man thanks, peppers! Fantastic colour combo! Love Rubans!

I agree, great working those colours together

That is a fantastic colour scheme. I bet it turns lots of heads. Lovely!
