What an incredible list of scarves ABQ! Love the Napoleon on different tops!

Beautiful Papertiger!

When you look at the incredible list of scarves that were issued, I feel a little guilty I don't have more Ledoux! But I love the 2 designs I do have..

Here is Phaeton...I know you guys have seen it before but hope you aren't toooo sick of seeing it! It's another one I have to kind of search to find ways to wear, like the la Rosee. I seem to have trouble finding ways to wear blue scarves! Will try to ponder that heavily this week!

So elegant and so pretty

I just love the colors in your Cosmos.....beautiful!

Thank you, Cordeliere, scarf1, Croisette, Katherine Q and MaiTai. I hope I didn't miss anyone.

Croisette - you make me want a plisse!!!

Oh, I love that WEDGEWOOD!!

Your collection is amazing. I've always admired Les Normands for its theme. If you or eliwon have an action shot, I'd love to see how it ties. The design in rather large, isn't it?

I regret that I didn't buy this design. I learned more about S. Kerr with Parade de Leonhardi. She is a cool artist. Hopefully, she'll design more scarves in the future. This carré is stunning on you, dear Croisette.

Elegant😍

Thank you all ladies and gentleman!
moma, yes, the border is huge ... and go for a plissé!

I did see one a few years ago from a local dealer here who does the shows. . It was very interesting with agate slabs and cast silver links. One of the agate slabs had broken as they were not reinforced with a backing. It was very pricey and hung around for years.

Have you been to the annual Aberdeen Antique Show? It is held the same weekend as the Agricultural Fair and the Fishermen's Festival. There was some very fine and pricey Scottish antiques and jewellery although no Hermes scarves the year we went. This was some time ago but you never know which shows will be worthwhile.

Will try to dig out my Ledoux & Scottish scarves.
I haven't been to any of the shows up north. Maybe I should - they sound very interesting. There are some jewellers in Edinburgh who occasionally have them in but they don't stay in the window for long. I have a penchant for most Victorian jewellery except the items made from hair. 😨😨
I would love to see your Scottish scarves! 😊

Gorgeous Pautinka! You might try a Bova knot to keep it secure but keep the knot discreet. I put instructions over in the reference thread for tying [/QUOTE]

Thank you bunnycat...I will pop over to that thread now and have a look as I don't want that to happen again!!! 😰

Would love a Scottish themed scarf - am lucky enough to have visited lots of Scottish beaches - the Orkneys, Shetland and the Outer Hebrides, and some of them were all quiet and completely un-windy if such a word exists, but a Hermes scarf would have been quite out of its cultural environment - it was all pure nature 😃
I don't know eliwon, being a natural fabric I think H scarves would blend in quite nicely with the natural landscape....any excuse to wear one really!! 😁😁 I haven't been to Orkney but must one day as that is where my husband's family came from a few centuries ago. I believe that back in the 1600s they were what was called the baillies of the island (quite a responsible position).

I have wild camped on the coast on the very northern tip of Scotland....quite spectacular (see photo). Yes, I had also read that Johnstons make H cashmere. Their stuff is really good quality ; they have a great sale online end Dec/start Jan when I tend to get my stuff about half - price (about £200 per jumper, pure cashmere). I am a bit of a cashmere/silk/tweed fan, I am afraid!
