I don't have a Mcname, I am an adopted Scott :D

Here's my real scarf of the day - today saluting the seagulls at the beach, and not even a Scottish beach :p

A great photo, PT!

How nice, papertiger & Pautinka! I'm Scottish by ancestry (have a "Mc" real name) and I love this scarf. Here it is in back-to-school brown:
and two different ties -- the second managing to make two sword hilts look like one eggbeater!

Especially loving the 'eggbeater ' tie , [only now you have said it do I see it ;)]

I can't get over the output of Ledoux and so many rarities in there too.

Come and stroll around London for a rest from those birds!!

ABQ thank you so much for a great Ledoux intro! So much information. Knew he was a great and far reaching artist and you have given us so much background information.

This has fast become my fave thread and I'm blown away by the beauties everyone displays and the creative styling.

Can't keep up with everyone's photos and posts so just a general thank you to everyone for your inspiration and innovative ideas [emoji257][emoji257][emoji257]

What an incredible list of scarves ABQ! Love the Napoleon on different tops!

Beautiful Papertiger!

When you look at the incredible list of scarves that were issued, I feel a little guilty I don't have more Ledoux! But I love the 2 designs I do have..

Here is Phaeton...I know you guys have seen it before but hope you aren't toooo sick of seeing it! It's another one I have to kind of search to find ways to wear, like the la Rosee. I seem to have trouble finding ways to wear blue scarves! Will try to ponder that heavily this week!

This is such a pretty scarf! I never get tired of seeing the same scarves, they always look different and full of surprises when tied!

I have about 10 Ledoux, I think. I love his work! I've shown this one before: La Comédie française. It's also called Molière and is from 1969, I believe. View attachment 3356369View attachment 3356370View attachment 3356371

Thank you MaiTai it took me ages to find the Napoleons in such good condition. They are my vintage prizes

What a majestic scarf LPdC is, fabulous!

Oh, joy, a list! ABQ, you are a godsend to newbies like me who often have no clue about designers and who engage in "hunt the signature/monkey" with SAs who are free to give a little H tuition :giggles:

I'm happy to add to the general knowledge when I can, xincinsin! There have been other lists for artists in the past -- I know I did one for Hugo Grygkar (p 541) and Robert Dallet (page 476) plus some very informative links about individual scarves on explorers week (pages 588-589).

I'm glad you're enjoying the thread, pp! I don't post as often as I'd like during the week, but I love everyone's participation. I've observed that there seems to be more interest in scarves tied than in designs laid flat -- I love them all, but it's fun to see them in action!

Merci, MaiTai -- I'm so happy to see your lovely sunny PdC! Beautiful horses and I love the doggies, too!
