Love your fleurs Indians! Perfectly on topic!
Thank you, scarf1! Yellow is a challenge for many of us, but you have risen to it beautifully -- the secret may in part be your clever pairing with the jacket, reinforcing the blue & grey notes in the scarf. Well done! (Not that great blonde tresses don't do their bit too ...)

8 May 2016 [Mothers Day] FLOWERS, FLOWERS, FLOWERS!

Today’s the day we honor Mothers,
But if you’re not one, then honor others –
The theme this week is simply FLOWERS
Enjoy and wear them, hours and hours.

Hermês loves roses, daisies too –
Orchids, lilies, pink or blue,
Common flowers or buds so rare,
Lots of flowers or here and there.

Bring yours out and show us how
You wear your flowers – the time is now!
Oh, ABQ, this CW of axis mundi is really gorgeous. Mine in peach. I never even realized there are flowers on it! LOL. Different CWs always bring out something unexpected.

Alas, I'm not on theme; I was spending time with my daughter here in the Barbican and I chose something to reflect the architecture rather than our gardens: I'm really bad at modelling but it's the pleated version of Astrologie

It's lovely Willowbarb!

Cordeliere, a stunning scarf, regardless. But I think there's no one here who hasn't made an on-line purchase and then opened the package and thought "Uh oh." (It's way brighter or bigger or smaller or more see-through than the visualized item one fell in love with.) But I also find that there's usually a way to make these scarves work, and this is the BEST place for finding pals willing to share the challenge!

Pretty scarf!

Azalie and scarf1. Thank you.

On last weeks theme, another Legende Kuna Peuple de Panama.

I want to share some thoughts on this scarf. I am a newbie in the silk world. This scarf was in my top 5 most desired. When it came, it surprised me. It is pink, purple, and blue, so how could it be any better?

Well first of all, the blue is much more neon that it appears in any pic I have seen or is captured in my pic. It is not pastel. Second, the contrast border is MUCH more challenging than I expected. My tying skills are non existent, but I did figure out how to display the part I love (the pink square) by positioning it off center and hiding the challenging border inside my top. But needless to say, I am looking forward to the October 2 theme "HIDE THAT BORDER: knots that hide borders and/or emphasize scarf centers".

Thanks for letting me share. I would have like to have known the challenges of this color way before buying, so maybe this info will help someone else.
I really like the yellow border cordeliere, but regardless it really looks great the way you have it tied in the photo!

Happy Mother's Day, all!

There are so many fabulous H scarves with flowers, so I'll go with one with "FLEURS" right on the marquee, Fleurs d'Indiennes.

But I thought I'd combine being on theme with being on tangent, and try to add a visual aid (inspired by MrsWasik) about the triangle:

Paper strip example
Loose knot
Tighter knot
On!

[Bushbaby postscript]

And, Mrs W, I think what have on your Jungle Love Tatouage, rather than a sloth, may be a critter that can go mano-a-mano with Mr. Sloth for sheer cuteness: a bushbaby or galago -- thanks for featuring him! (Her?)
Thanks for this great post azalie!

Flowers- love them!
Here is pays oiseux fleurs, a departure for me because of all the yellow.
I love this CW on you scarf1...so cheery!
