This scarf is not what I am wearing today, but it is well on theme of this week: Daimyo Princes du Soleil Levant. Pictures from long-ago-archive! I think this color way of Daimo has not been posted yet.

Pirula, frou frou, Pocketbook Pup - I am glad you appreciate the link!
So nice to see this CW. It's new to me and so striking! Thanks.

Yes, that was our very first thread and as the only original contributer to that thread who is still posting today, I am very saddened and I'll leave it at that.

LOVE THESE! And that pink Evie with your ELeK - sooo sweet.

Thank you all for the ELeK shawl love. I've had it on all day, so it's been both tucked in (I love seeing only the dark colors) and hanging out (also love the waves, frou frou).

Seton's pink is also dreamy (what color is the hem?). I adore this design.

fantastic my dear seton! Look at these beauties with their companion bags!

I, for one, am so glad you are still here seton:hugs: Now if you would just hand over that gorgeous Daimyo (and a Plume bag ;) ) my life would be infinitely improved :graucho:

+ 1:tup:

Sharing an archive pic of a Daimyo mousseline. I wish this one had loved me in equal measure but I don't get along with mint green in copious quantities ;)

Yikes, sorry for the giant pictures!

Are you kidding me? This Daimyo mousse is AMAZING on you! A rare and minty delight!
Shall we trade one of my twills for your minty mousse?

You are rocking these autumnal colours, my dear. :smile1:

TY, I posted the h.com pic for u. It's cw 07 and it was called Prune/Fuchsia/Violet or something like that.

I mentioned before that I thought this cw was a winner.
And TY for ur kind words.

TY, textilegirl but what do you need mine when you have that gorgeous Plume of yours? I was carrying my Barenia Plume today and it says Hi! And that it wants to stay with me. :p

I think your Daimyo is just dreamy. I've seen it in person a few times.

Thanks seton. It's just lovely. 90? Or CSGM?

Oh I'm sorry. You aid CSGM. It's truly lovely.

The official colors are prune, rose, and violet. I have the same shawl and it is absolutely the best purple shawl ever.

Another Ex Libris en Kimonos , twins with a couple of you , ABQ2ATL has recently found one ,yay!
It was the one for me with the red accents on the border, jade hem,and cobalt .

seton and textilegirl - nice to see Daimyo in CSGM and mousseline!

seton - I am so happy that you are here, sharing your knowledge about Hermès scarves with us!
I like your avatar! It makes me smile!

Wow, Holsby -- I've been stalking my Daimyo for awhile and I've never even SEEN this colorway. Beautiful blues, thanks!
ABQ2ATL - I am glad to contribute! :smile1:

- - - I enjoyed those "wild and woolly" times when the personalities of the posters were as vibrant as the outfits they described. That libertarianism (or, perhaps bohemianism to some) was part of the joie de vivre of the time, and I miss it. Let's not let ourselves get bogged town in Purse Forum Political Correctness. The times, they are a changin'.

Respectfully,

John in DFW
