Multi-quote was being uncooperative with me so thank you all for the lovely comments.

Love your super h. Love your earrings even more and that is saying a lot since I never thought I'd like those earrings (don't flame me everyone). If you don't mind, what size are they?

The earrings are a fairly new purchase thanks to all the tempting photos posted in the forum as well! These are the MM, the smaller of the two sizes.

Wow!! I love this! So beautiful lyseiki[emoji173]️[emoji173]️

You totally ROCK it dear Kyokei! Super cute!

So beautiful! I am always a fan of black, white and red combinations [emoji173]️[emoji173]️ I am so sorry the black and white boulevards didn't work out for you. It was the same for me. I loved it but sadly it didn't love me back :(... Have you tried the white and black TT or the white and black Arbre? They may be good options.

Oh my friend you certainly know how to wear your scarves in style [emoji7][emoji7] amazingly chic and STUNNING [emoji173]️[emoji173]️ you inspire me[emoji173]️

Another fabulous CW if ZP dear chris [emoji173]️

Wow! It's one of a kind!!! Beautiful seton[emoji173]️[emoji173]️

Thank you!!

Very cool and different Kyokei! It suits you so well!

Kat, a marvelous scarf hanging and works so well to brighten a room! Thank you for sharing and hopefully you'll get to change your silk art. I am still waiting for DH to hang my kit !

Thanks! I fell in love the moment my SA showed this to me.

Hello all! Been away on business and have missed you all. I'm back, and may never catch up! Thank you to everyone who's posted so many beautiful pics! And how lovely that Kyokei and abq2atl got to meet! Loved that picture! The fact that it was serendipity, in what has to be one of the busiest H boutiques in the world, makes it all the more special!

So since Savana Dance is a favorite of mine this season, which one did you get abq2atl?

Pirula! Welcome back! Was wondering where you went.
It was such a great coincidence to run into ABQ2ATL in the boutique!

Seton I love the design and your fun strap, so pop!

Looking Great in you Bostonjetset

😄Two cute duo! ABQ2ATL & Kyokei

Both look lovely on you Kyokei

Love this soft color knot ABQ2ATL

Thank you!

A fun scarf!

Not a design I have seen! I need to look for more "abstract" scarves.

So cute on you!

Thank you!

Thank you dear eternallove4bag, your sweet comments always make my day :hugs:

Thank you lyseiki8, and your onde de chic looks lovely on you!

I can see why you love this kyokei, and it suits you so well.

Excellent choice my twin! I think you will love this one pbp. Interestingly, the ombré in black and white is the one I was considering. I am dying to find a CW of that design in either the 90 or CSGM, but no luck thus far. I thought that one might work, but based on your experience I fear I may have the same problem. I wish the black and white Brandebourgs was still available, but I don't see it other than through resellers now :crybaby:

Thanks!!

This is so cute!!!!

Isn't it?!

Adorable kyokei...you can totally pull off the bow tie!!

Awesome knot abq2atl!

You handle the chouchou knot better than anyone lanit, this looks great!

Wow chris! What a fantastic haul!!

Twins birkin! This looks amazing on you :smile1:

Perfection pbp, and I am so curious to see what your new arrival will be...I wonder if it is the same bl/wh shawl I have been considering online as well :graucho:

Thank you so much!

Okay, so now it’s up to you—
Let’s see the knots you love to do.
See one you like? Ask how it’s done—
At SOTD, we’re all for one!

Lovely intro as always, ABQ2ATL!

Although I've already announced the Scarf Week theme, I want to briefly revisit Dimitri Week and give a shoutout to the lovely scarf-in-action pictures. (Lots of pages without pix, though -- :shrugs: but conversation is good too) The most popular scarf seemed to be Minuit au Faubourg (Super H), but we did accumulate a lot of nice pictures of Dimitri designs.
Special props to Seton, Croisette, atomic and Cherryblossum for their swell collections, but we all enjoyed seeing bunnycat, Pirula, Pocketbook Pup, Maedi, lanit, JRTgal, hermesguy John, scarf1 (headless!) lyseiki, Joannadyne, BJS, Bova, momasaurus, and kat99's wall! (And thanx also to Myrkur, EL4B, Kyokei, weibandy, birkin10600 for sharing their lovely non-Dimitri designs.
And finally...:woohoo: to Chris for giving us a view of the fabulous H sale in Paris! You look very handsome in your ZP, Chris, and we're looking forward to seeing you in your beautiful new carres! Thanks for sharing, everyone!

And thanks for letting me share my scarves even though they aren't always on theme!
I hope that one day I will acquire the kind of scarf collection where I can always have at least one on theme

It doesn't get much simpler than this. A cowboy knot tucked into my cardigan. Ciel Byzantine.

Looks great on you, Pocketbook Pup!

That's lovely!

I still struggle with the cowboy knot. Maybe I'm not folding enough fabric back but it always seems so poufy (putting in cardigan may fix this. Hmmmm).

I'm still learning. So while I try many knots, my two go to's are super simple since I'm usually in a hurry in the am and it's always dark.

The standard run through an anneau infinity ring and/or wrapped around my neck with either a tied knot or a ring:

You make me want to invest in a scarf ring!

Parures draped and tied a la Chou Chou.

I love this last knot!

Hi Kyokei!

I tell you, those scarf rings are great when in a hurry. The anneau infinity ones especially!

I am very excited for this week’s theme because I love trying out new and different knots with my scarves.

Today I took my new La Marche du Zambeze out for the first time. Like my pink Modernisme Tropical, this isn’t the type of CW I would usually go for. In fact, baby blue and yellow are two of my least favorite colors. But it matched with my Kelly so well that I had to try it on… and surprisingly loved it…. and of course it came home with me.

Naturally the day I decide to wear such a bright scarf, it snows.

Anyway, this knot is one of my favorites. I won’t buy a scarf if it doesn’t look good in this type of knot. It showcases a lot of the design whereas many of my other go to knots don’t, so I really enjoy it. And I love how the material drapes. Sadly, this knot doesn’t photograph well, but in real life it looks amazing.

My go to knot for the 90s is bias fold plus maitai scarf ring. I particularly like my mother of pearl that is dark on one side, and white on the other.
This is an archive pic, but it shows the scarf ring clearly.

Wow!!! You got a Zambeze! It's gorgeous!

Okay, what is this knot? Instructions please....

Thank you! I always liked the design, but really didn't expect to go for this CW at all. Yellow and light blue are two of my biggest NOs.... but the border won me over and it surprisingly looked good on me (though I was hesitant because boutique lighting can do that!). But even ABQ2ATL thought I should get it.

Yes! How did you do this? What a pretty border!

Thank you! The border is what really caught my attention.

Anyway, the knot is super easy, and if I can find a big mirror or get someone to take a picture of me I will show you all this knot when it isn't self photographed as it tends to look better that way. Hate how it comes out in self taken pictures, but it looks so drapey and nice in person.

I start it off as if I were doing a cowboy knot and adjust the length to where I want it. Sometimes I fold it over more if I want a shorter scarf, other times less if I want it to hang long.

Then instead of tying it around in the front like you would with a cowboy knot, I double knot in the back (you can single knot it but I don't trust the wind not to blow it away) and move the tails to the front. The tails are a lot longer when I make the scarf shorter in front but today I wanted the scarf to hang down longer.
