Scarf of the day - which scarf are you wearing today?

What I 'tied' on yesterday though raining I had my nylon rain jacket over my jean jacket, over my Tapis Persian as tunic, over a Uniqlo fleece long sleeve top LOL.

Parures draped and tied a la Chou Chou.

Lani you always look so chic even with a tossed on scarf!

Sorry this is a day late but today I'm wearing my Minuit au faubourg gavroche. I tried to capture my new loop earrings too.

I never was a scarf person until lurking on this thread and viewing all the beautiful scarfs and mod shots. Thanks for all the inspiration and a little less thanks for thinning my wallet

Agreed. It's far easier with 70s! It's definitely a plethora of fabric "thing" for me. But I shall persevere.

Aren't the Loops the coolest earrings? I think I wear mine more than any of my scarves.
You look great in them and in perfect balance, with the gavroche giving just that little touch of silk and a pop of red .

It doesn't get much simpler than this. A cowboy knot tucked into my cardigan. Ciel Byzantine.

I still struggle with the cowboy knot. Maybe I'm not folding enough fabric back but it always seems so poufy (putting in cardigan may fix this. Hmmmm).

I'm still learning. So while I try many knots, my two go to's are super simple since I'm usually in a hurry in the am and it's always dark.

The standard run through an anneau infinity ring and/or wrapped around my neck with either a tied knot or a ring:

Oh dear. I'm afraid my answer is very stupid and not very interesting: I have really short arms and I kinda delude myself that there must be something I can do to take better selfies. :shame:
I'm gonna try the two-handed technique next time. :coolpics:

Haha! I've rather short arms for my height. Forever tailoring jackets. So I can relate.

I rather like your selfies. I think you must use a mirror? Which I've never been able to do. At. ALL.

That Paddock is esp fabulous! That colorway always reminds me of an artist's palette with the splashes of primary colors against a white background.

I'm afraid that it's a one of a kind leather strap prototype bought at a NYC sample sale. As far as I know, it never went into production because it was probably cost prohibitive.

We are twins on Super H, Seton. I love the splashes of yellow, though it is not a color that I can wear very well.

That strap is incredible - what a great treasure to have.

The first and last knots in the introduction are the same scarf: Amours jacquard by Annie Faivre in pale blue with a yellow border. I chose it because the cherubs are lavender rather than gold.
