25 Dec 2016 SCARF ON SITE: The year in review -- show how you matched your scarves to your travels!

Croisette7 takes the cake, as always – she was the inspiration for this Theme Week! Here are just a few samples of her beautiful scarves at the lovely places she visits:
Sieste au Paradis CSGM with the seashells at a Roman fountain, Les Toits de Paris (with a clear photo of the Paris rooftops at bottom left), Mozart in Salzburg with a perfect sacher torte, The Royal Mews in London, Les Bissone de Venice on site --- I know she has many more and I hope she posts them this week!

I think you've already seen these silly pix of Paris and my Triplets gavroche...
But it was fun to do and very tricky!

Awesome set of photos!
I own a bunch of watery/nautic/fish themed scarves, but most pics I took are with Under the waves.
The other one is Voyage de Pytheas.View attachment 3559196 View attachment 3559197 View attachment 3559198 View attachment 3559199 View attachment 3559200

Thank you for letting me share!

I seem to flood this forum with pictures every now and then only to get drowned in work afterwards and not replying to all your sweet comments.:hrmm: English not being my first language does not make it easier...:-s
Sorry in advance and thanks for your patience. :flowers:

I love this shot of you Joanna, lol. Great eye contact!

Haha, sometimes when I looked down at it, it seemed as if the fox was hunting me!

You may have to re-tie it to avoid be starred at all day. Overall I love all the little creatures!
I tend to be drawn to more modern designs so this one's a little stretch for me. But I do enjoy H critters as well. Most of the time, when they're not stalking me, anyway! [emoji23]

LOL, so funny about the eyeballs! I feel the same with Under the Waves, no matter how I folded it, some fishy ended up looking at me. I passed on it but I'm sure I'll regret doing that! By the way, so lucky you can wear that jade green border nicely.
Thanks for the compliment! I don't feel the same about fishy eyeballs as critter eyeballs - maybe because fish don't have the same level of intelligence. Under the Sea is gorgeous. That's also one that got away for me.

Laughed out loud at this! :)

Awesome posts!! :heart::heart:

Thanks!

Darling...your pics are so fabulous!! I absolutely love them. Can you please start a thread with your scarf collex? I adore your humor....and playful photos. Am so glad we met in line at the BH sale this year. :hugs:

Wow, that's a high compliment coming from you, whose posts and style I've long admired! I'm afraid my collection is still quite small - I have maybe a dozen, i think - so you guys have seen most of it already! Maybe once I reach 18 or 20, that seems like a more respectable number for a collection. [emoji1] And yes, I am so glad we met at the sale! You were so awesome at line management. I was a bit overwhelmed by decisions, decisions! But it was so much fun. I really hope they have a sale this summer as well.

This was great, I feel almost as if I have been there myself! Loved seeing all the things played out!!
Oh, good, I'm so glad!

Truly, your photos make my day. The fox staring at you is hilarious!! I usually end up making that face at the elephant toes on Beloved India!
Heh heh, I don't have that scarf but they're such cute bubbly toes!

HAHA! I am laughing out loud. H loves those big animal eyes!! And how about that guy with the whip in the first picture?

Glad you brought this out. I also have a hard time with the muted CWs, but this looks great on you! Especially with the white blouse, your lipstick color, and the LV. The colors look lovely.
Thank you, momasaurus! And I didn't see the whip until you pointed it out - oh, my....

I suppose we all have our favourite resellers sites or person, i e those of us who (te)turned to the scarf arena and just realised lovely older ones or even Grails which has slipped unnoticed under our hands. Any tips of sources apart from Ebay from some of you who are more seasoned at digging out treasures would be hugely appreciated- TIA

Not "on site" unless my house counts [emoji13] but it is my actual SOTD.

I've only seen the blue Glitch -- this is a nice photo of your CW! And if you have a computer in your house, that might count for scarf-on-site, LOL!
Happy New Year Silkies! I have been having a blast with family and friends, so not a lot of time to take photos on site. But here is my holiday shawl and new to me new year EB jige to share. Zenobie is a really wonderful design. Glad I have both the twill and GM in this design!

Cheers to you and your beautiful Zenobie CSGM and that gorgeous Jige! Electric Blue is so mesmerising!

And thanks for all the Likes on my gavroche, dear scarfies! I love it so much I might need to get another cw so I can tie them together and wear with a scarf ring!
