Dear Scarfies, not doing very well on the scarf outside challenge as usually never remember to take photo of self when out, also weather here in the UK freakishly mild but damp and drizzly.

Bad photo of me in Grand Apparat

Better photo of dog in purple harness wondering why I am stopping to take selfie

Dear bunnycat, so you have an H loving cat, too!!! :hbeat: A heavenly mousse and such an unbelievable cute Frieda!!! Thank you for sharing this sweet pic!!!

The scarf is beautiful, but the real beauty is Frieda!! :hbeat:

i'm sending this pix to a friend who loves, loves, loves kitties.

Wow, bunnycat, you have wonderful taste in scarves and cats, what an absolute beauty (both)

Awww- thank you all so kindly Sammy, HNN, eagle, and papertiger! Frieda is a very special joy! (When she is not getting in to trouble!) I've had both her and her brother since they were 4 weeks old and I had to bottle feed them like babies...(complete with feeding schedules and midnight alarms) so they are both quite special to me.

I am proud to say they have both been trained well to like (though not always respect!) my H scarves...

Pudfish - your yellow bordered couvertures is terrific for the wintry weather per your description. Look at that pup's expression - and yours too, priceless!

bunny - what a sweet kitty pix - definitely the warm tones complement them nicely!
jaidi - welcome and a lovely CdC silk that you are rocking there!

Well it has been pouring down rain here, but I captured this right before the storm began yesterday. This tree is an ancient Australian Monkey tree with huge pine cones. I had to share a photo of it because it is an awesome tree that the park department has to put caution tape all around it during certain times of the year because if ever a pine cone hits a person, it is lethal. So no Xmas tree chopping photos from me - I'll be happy with visiting our park and adding some lights to our house for a change. Here with my vintage Neige cashmere 90.

FYI on the correct latin tree name - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Araucaria_bidwillii

This is a 90 cashmere? Such pretty colors, and perfect for winter.
