Dear QKay, Bunnycat and Lanit, thank you for your kind words. QKay, green and yellow scarf is Couvertures et Tenues du Jour by Jacques Eudel, from 1970s. Yet another of my "rescue" scarves. It shows different rugs on horses, there is one which is a sort of string vest which amuses me no end.
Bunnycat, I think a pet and scarf theme week would be risky, I would clog up this thread with one scarf pic and 4000 pics of the doglet. I love how your beautiful cat coordinates with the orangey-amber tones of the scarves in your photo. I would not trust my dog near my scarves, he already has form for book destruction and is on the Most Wanted List for Shoe and Slipper Attacks.
Lanit, thank you, yellow is not a go to colour for me but it is very cheery on grey days.

The tree is amazing, lanit, but you & your Neige are even amazing-er!Well it has been pouring down rain here, but I captured this right before the storm began yesterday. This tree is an ancient Australian Monkey tree with huge pine cones. I had to share a photo of it because it is an awesome tree that the park department has to put caution tape all around it during certain times of the year because if ever a pine cone hits a person, it is lethal. So no Xmas tree chopping photos from me - I'll be happy with visiting our park and adding some lights to our house for a change.Here with my vintage Neige cashmere 90.
