My SOTD, not exactly on theme, but feeling a bit festive regardless! My new Lalbhai giant silk twill with a GM trio scarf ring. I had hoped to compare this with Cheval Phoenix in the fuchsia/red CW worn so beautifully by Sammy Royal and Croisette , but alas my store did not have it, so I decided to come home with this anyway. I do love the combo of purple with the orange/red as well as a subtle amount of gray and blue in here as well.

Thank you abq2atl, I'm glad you like it! And yes, the trio ring comes in both PM and GM. The PM is for primarily the 90's and the GM primarily for the larger GM formats such as giant silk and CSGM's. This is a new ring for me, having always used Maitai's rings, which I love. However, I am liking this one very much for a slightly different look, in fact I am hoping to find it in the PM size as well. Very easy to use!

Winter weather’s finally here,
With holidays and songs of cheer.
Santa’s sleigh and eight reindeer:
Since Halloween seen far and near.
Family gatherings can be drear—
We try to smile at those who jeer.

Shop for clothes and other gear,
Wrap them up when kids appear!
Is that orange box for me, my dear?
How sweet—you made me shed a tear.
Love’s everywhere, with hugs sincere;
And we’ll do it all again next year!

FAVORITE HOLIDAY SCARVES:
Neige d'Antan with all the charming little figures around the edge and the frame of skis and hockey sticks to frame the skiers in the center. (See the hockey pucks with the mistletoe in the diagonal corners?)

Lest anyone think they need a specific holiday-themed scarf to show us, here are some "Festives"...
Last year at Christmastime, the theme was "Festive Red"
Les Fetes du Roy Soleil, a fireworks jacquard with frisky gentlemen and horses decked out in feathers

here it is in action against a red sweater and a Hermes-orange wall for comparison

L'Hiver en Poste, a snowy day scarf

Suite et Poursuite (again and again) referring to the classic Ex Libris design, here in a VERY bright orange with cassis pinstripes and green that makes me think of Christmas balls

the bright colors are hard to duplicate -- that's supposed to be a fuchsia top to match the cassis stripes!

This is beautiful and has a stained glass effect. Is the trio specific to GMs or the same used for 90 cm scarves.
