OT today from Salzburg with MOZART carré

I've been lurking for the past few weeks, enjoying everyone's beautiful scarves. Now trying to stay warm with my parka and my Sous L'Egide de Mars Brrr.....

Croissette, the Sacher tart looks so yummy, I can eat it through the screen.
Canuck Bag Lover, I love the color with your parka. I parted with a Sous L'Egide in a blue cw that just didn't pop for me against my winter navys and blacks. This is a wonderful combo.

Your Turandot pic is just lovely, ABQ! I've found my red HG recently.

Two pics from the archives (which I can access myself... - there should be some more outdoor shots but I will need the help of DH to find them... ;)).

The Point d'Orgue knot for essiedub, moma, cavalla and anyone else:
Pocketbook Pup is the one to thank for this: (post #12 in the "contrast hems" link): http://forum.purseblog.com/threads/best-scarf-knots-to-show-off-contrast-hems.933198/
"I fold it in half as a rectangle. Then I hold two corners diagonally across from each other and fold it that way. Like you are going to do an asymmetric fold. Then I just grab it in the middle and squeeze it together there. Put it around your neck and tie just once. It never comes out the same way twice so sometimes you have to play a little. I think I copied this from arabesques but I might have just totally confused what she was doing and ended up with something different. I think grabbing/ gathering it in the middle is the important step."
