Thank you so much Pocketbook Pup. I thought it would be easier to show on photos as I would just tie myself up in knots (!!) trying in words. Here goes:
Step one:

Step two:

Step three:

Step four:
ace26c6b864e9284321435e4483498b9.jpg

When you are tying the knot you need to do it so that you are pulling the two ends away from each other. Easy peasy!! I hope this is self - explanatory but if not just say! [emoji4]
Step three: holding the short tail pass the long tail under it and put up behind the scarf. Pull back towards you and tie. If you want a stubbier knot like in my original photo just wrap around again before tying. I like this knot as it seems to go well with jumpers, t-shirts and jackets.

HOLD YOUR (Hermes) HORSES -- I found three more Latham scarves not in the original list (in addition to Reveries Japonaises [1991] which I already added)
Pyramids (1973)

Le Salon Dore (framed) per Polly Guerin on this website http://rwanycblogginginthebigapple.blogspot.com/2009/12/mystique-of-hermes-scarf.html
"Le Salon Dore was issued in 1996 for the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. Responding to popular demand, in 2007 Le Salon Dore was reissued, with proceeds benefiting the rebuilding of the New Orleans’ historic City Park carousel, which had been demanded by Hurricane Katrina, which was yet another Hermes nod to its equine roots."

Super sleuthing, ABQ! These are amazing.

Yesterday I wore Brandenbourg, very floppy old eBay rescue scarf. Tried it two different ways..

Am finding Caty Latham week fascinating, she is such a versatile designer, does not seem to have a distinctive style in the way of Anne Faivre. Some of her designs seem very classic - Les Clefs - while others seem rather modern - Sulfures..
Lovely!! And the necklace is perfect.

SOTD: I'm in Lyon wearing Amours with its delightful jacquard bees (seemed very French to me!)

This scarf is way prettier IRL than I thought it would be. The bees make me happy.

I can't stop looking at this scarf, it is so beautiful, you are so right, IRL it is stunning yet when I have seen it up for sale I never considered it. Time to reconsider!

What a fresh shade of blue Pudfish - and I do like that top knot very much indeed! Your scarf matches your necklace perfectly.

Good luck Cygne18 with your mum wearing your scarf today - I am sure she will cherish it and probably come back wanting her own after feeling a million dollars in her special square of silk!! Thank you for your lovely comments. This Latham is the only vintage scarf I have - I got it for a snip on ebay from a lady selling her aunt's estate. [emoji5]

You're the sweetest, Pautinka. Thank you! I bought mum an H scarf for the holidays and she knows what it is but refuses to wear it until 12/25. Heh. She will be an expert scarf knotter by then. Thank you for the good luck.

I love vintage finds on eVilbay (as some folks call it ), especially when you get a good deal. I bought a really old scarf on Tradesy

I love scarf tutorials, as you know. Thank you for this excellent one, @Pautinka.
