Hi everyone, I have been lurking and reading for a while as I haven't anything much to say, but I do have at least one bright scarf. Have probably posted it before, but here goes anyway:

Au Coeur de la Vie - have never been totally sure about the bright yellow border, but love the other colours so much!

Yes, from the famous location of "Sickbed" in Chronicillnesstown, Coughshire, UK. Trying out my mad Pat Butcher style earrings (UK joke).

Love to you all, Anny x
So nice to see your smiling face again! I love love love the carré with that turquoise blouse.

We're identical twins on this baby...isn't it so charming? I'm crazy about it..seeing the streets and the various profiles of illustrious French couples. Great scarf. I didn't even pretend to buy it for my guy!:graucho:

Really???? That's soooooooo cool we're twins! I swear I'm not making up the bought for husband story. After I bought my first Hermes scarf I was like "Dude, wtf with the pocket square?" Then, yay me!

I'm psyched we're twins. One can spend a half hour (ask me how I know this) looking at the details in this scarf. I agree.

I have been enjoying my summer silks lately. The first one H issued was the Lalbhai and I am a sucker for anything called Klein Blue. Then another popped up at my store and I do not have this pattern, so I brought this one home to try out. It is a lovely neutral on the center section and the pop fuschia border really jazzes it up! Couvertures 140 ss Gris Perle/Fuschia/Noir.

These are stunning Lanit!

Bova, this Maxi Twilly is superb in color and pattern.
Lanit, I already commented on the other thread. Adore your Couvertures.
Pudfish, your scarf is beautiful.
Pirula, a great selfie and scarf.
HermesHope, I love Au Coeur and this color is spectacular. That is another design to stare at for a while.
So nice to see you.
Croisette, heat wave? Here, too. Your bright scarves are pure delight. I must admit that most of my scarves are bright.
Thanks all for your kind comments.

Dear Bova, I hope it was not the same auction I bought mine in otherwise I will feel bad; it was an auction on UK eBAy, a lady in Guildford I think; before that there was another one in same colourway on UK eBay sold by a very popular reseller up in Edinburgh, did not bid on that one as she is v popular and her scarves always sell at a premium.. Wouldn't you have to pay lots of horrible Customs duty and tax if you buy scarf in UK and bring it into US? I shy away for that reason from buying scarves in Japan, even though some really good ones come up..

Dear Scarfies, my last blast on colourful scarves. This theme has made me realise I have many colourful scarves, probably as I am a girl who likes max bang for her bucks, and feel get more for my money with bright pink/orange/green/purple etc rather than something subtle! Think that subconsciously I have developed what I will now call "The Dame Edna Test": is it something Dame Edna Everage would have a dress made out of? If yes, buy. Oh dear...

Here is my new to me Casques et Plumets which I blame on the Julie Abadie theme week and the delightful enabling I received then:

And here is old pic I found of my secondhand Kimonos and Inros (Annie Faivre) another one which passes the Dame Edna test.

And here's the baseline for the Dame Edna test.
