Lanit - Wednesday is the hump so the week goes faster after that. Weekend is getting closer !! :D:D

Thank you for the explanation dear! I will remember this for those slow moving wednesdays:p

Hi Scarfies

just popping in to contribute another bright scarf, Cuirs du Désert. Ha ha, Son 1, ha ha, this does not mean pudding spoons, cuillères à dessert, what a wag you are, now go away and do your French homework..

Brava on your CdD Pudfish ! Terrific pops of color!

Wow, such gorgeous brights this week, I have been trying to just jump in and view these beauties everyone has posted, but it does not take very long to fall behind, this thread moves so fast. Thank you everyone for such great posts!

Trying my hand at bunnycat's maxi-twilly tying method. I think I have finally found a way to wear my MT without it driving me crazy!! Thank you bunnycat! Certainly one of my "brighter" scarves as well. Oh, and the picture includes what may be my newest H obsession...Hapi 3 bracelets...I love them!!

Hope everyone enjoys a wonderful weekend!

Bova - we are twins but I haven't been able to wear mine very often. It looks fab on you.

My dear Pudfish, although we have a heatwave, it's just for you!

Yet more CdD's - brilliant gems on you Croisette!

I have been enjoying my summer silks lately. The first one H issued was the Lalbhai and I am a sucker for anything called Klein Blue. Then another popped up at my store and I do not have this pattern, so I brought this one home to try out. It is a lovely neutral on the center section and the pop fuschia border really jazzes it up! Couvertures 140 ss Gris Perle/Fuschia/Noir.

Thank you lanit, I think I will wear this more now that I have found a way to tie the MT that I am comfortable with :smile1:

Wow, both are gorgeous lanit, I am hoping to try some Couvertures as they stream into the boutique, I just love this design and your CW is wonderful! I hope your keep it ;)

Dear scarfies and other people,

since this ist my favourite thread I will use it to introduce myself:

"Hello, my name is Honeylocks and I am a scarf addict"
It all started around 2006 when I saw "Beloved India" in a shop window (not a hermes shop). I was drawn to it, saw the price tag and moved on.
Last winter I watched "25 was to tie a scarf" on youtube, which led me to MaiTai.
Some weeks later I had the chance to go to an Hermes-store. Was unprepared and asked for a design from 2 years ago, the SA just frowned at me :-(
By now, I got what I wanted in retail from the internet (always an adventure, learned about import taxes and how to spot fakes) and some new ones (via shop and hermes.com). Oh yes, the slippery orange slope......

I love the art, the colours, the texture of the silk on my skin, the versatility and playfulness, all the ways to wear them. They pimp everyday things so easily.:p

I was reading through many threads in the past months, besides this my favourite ones are Hermes with cheap outfits and Tango Tostca's scarf circus. You are all such an inspiration here, I love to see your pictures and appreciate the kind atmosphere in this forum.

So let me share my piece of bright: Bateau Fleuri in green and blue with fishies and birdies.

And I know I am late for Julie Abadie-week, but I tried to braid Ciels Byzantines into my hair.
Hi HoneyLocks - A BIG hello from me too .. even though I still consider myself as a silk newbie and I do not check-in here on a regular basis. :smile1: See you around here.

Hi everyone, I have been lurking and reading for a while as I haven't anything much to say, but I do have at least one bright scarf. Have probably posted it before, but here goes anyway:

Au Coeur de la Vie - have never been totally sure about the bright yellow border, but love the other colours so much!

Yes, from the famous location of "Sickbed" in Chronicillnesstown, Coughshire, UK. Trying out my mad Pat Butcher style earrings (UK joke).

Love to you all, Anny x

Gorgeous against the stripes!!!

Thank you lyseiki8, definitely try bunnycat's tying method, it works very well and keeps the MT from poufing about all over the place!

Wow, such wonderful brights of this design croisette, and just lovely with your striped top :smile1:

Thank you for the explanation dear! I will remember this for those slow moving wednesdays:p

HermesHope, your Coeur is stunning with the yellow border and you wear it so well with your smile  !

Thank you croisette. (I must remember to smile. New to selfies).

I love it so. I actually acquired it a few years back for my husband. He never wore it, deciding he's not the pocket square type. So, she is mine now. [emoji1]
