In a knot that ONLY MAITAI can actually pull off, and the full carré.

Thank you all for indulging me !! :yw:

This is such a silk masterpiece, love the richness of the details and the blues! I note they have the names of Molière's plays in the medallions round the edges, so I must admit I shuddered a bit when I saw Tartuffe as I had to do that for "A" level about 1000 years ago...Moma, if I have one of those "oh no I forgot to revise for my exams" dreams I shall blame you!

I think it looks marvellous too in your MaiTai knot, I do understand how you feel though about wearing it in public, I often feel self-conscious if I feel a knot I am wearing is too overdone/frilly but I think it does not look like that to other people...

I was just in Paris last week and here is the FSH horseman flying his scarves - not sure of the design but hope it will count as a Paris connection!

Yay, Scarf Addict! I keep popping into your blog to see if you have posted and then trudging away again downhearted if no new post. How's that for a guilt trip?? 😜😜 I do so love your bloggie though...

I love this pattern :crybaby:so much...I wish the colors worked for me.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!:smile1:

cherryblossom: this CW is not on the USA website, or in 2 boutiques I visited last week !

 But the Orange one is really stunning on you!! I love it!:yahoo:

*This looks fabulous, Cherry!! Great color!

Thank you, BJ! I need a petit H brooch like yours to pair with it:D

Oh I love this on you cherryblossum, I am so hoping I find a CW of this design that works for me!!

Oh Pudfish, you nailed it. Frilly is the perfect word for how I feel about that knot and sartorial irony is difficult to pull off.

I suppose Tartuffe is appropriate for exams, but Le Bourgeois gentilhomme is such a fun play, and has music by Lully! (WHY IS THERE NO LULLY CARRE ?? )
