I think this little guy fits in the this week's theme. Les Tambours with the drums of the Garde Nationale, first modeled by Tiny (You can see he was *thrilled*), then me. :p

Oh my goodness, the colours of this scarf are stunning! Like the most exquisite elegant ice cream! And Tiny is very very cute indeed. Does he like books? (see photo about my dog's latest reading material).

Meanwhile, here is my contribution to French week. It's Françoise de la Perrière's design La France, a rather bedragged eBay rescue.

I was amused to find, among the many elements featured on it, a snail. As we are dealing with the French here, query whether the snail is there for natural history reasons or as an example of their culinary art...(I do not mean to offend anyone French, but I am always amazed by their ability to turn the most unlikely things into dinner).

I think my dog might be French, he was busy doing this today while I was taking scarf photos. Just needs a nice lemony sauce...

Lovely scarf pudfish, and your dog seems to be having fun too!

This is gorgeous Cherry, I have never seen this design before, I adore it!

A beautiful scarf and a fun post Pudfish.

This looks just right on you pocketbook pup, you and Pirula are making me regret not buying this design in this CW I saw recently. I am just not sure about that much orange, but both of you look amazing in it!!

I love, love Tambours!! Both you and Tiny carry it off very well bunnycat:smile1:

Thank you Bova. I think the three of us have similar coloring. I was definitely overwhelmed by this color at first but I loved the design so I played with how to wear it in a subtle manner.

Thank you Pudfish! Tiny is not bookish, like your little cuss, he is a carpenter... (He chews on window sill edges which I then have to wood putty to fix the chew marks.

Your Tiny is a cutie, bunnycat! Love your Tambours!
Thak you Croisette!

Ladies, both of these are absolutely gorgeous.

You have a great eye, this is stunning and when I see a Tambours now I shall have a second look because it ties so much better I thought

It's become a favorite Pirula and frou frou!

And not on theme- but it came in the mail...I HOPE there is a scarf in there (there is more than one box. I already checked because I'm bad). The packaging is a dead give away! Just a couple of weeks or so to go!!!!:panic::woohoo:

I love this scarf AND your naughty little dog, too!

Yay, Scarf Addict! I keep popping into your blog to see if you have posted and then trudging away again downhearted if no new post. How's that for a guilt trip?? 😜😜 I do so love your bloggie though...

Oh no I am so sorry Pudfish! I keep meaning to update the blog - I have so many new things to show! Think I need to learn how to do collages then that would make it easier! I will have to try to do some blogging.

Happy Bastille Day, dear scarf lovers!

I had much the same thought as Pirula, it seems! The summer days are too much for pulling some of my France-centered scarves around the neck—but around the waist definitely works.

Here are two that I've been wearing this week as I do errands:

Promenades de Paris in rouge/fuchsia/gris

&

Minuit au Faubourg in Soleil/Orange/Brun
