Oh so wonderful JRTgal, and your Regarde Paris is extra special!

I have always loved this design froufrou, thank you so much for the back story, I can see why you treasure this gavroche!

Agreed...I will give it a try! Thank you :smile1:

Both divine and setting me off on a hunt , especially the green Paris , those scenes are TDF

How elegant , a real classic and beautifully modelled.

Napoleon is scarf heaven to me : the bees, the drawings , the Jacquard and the colours . it always feels like a Winter scarf to me , way too warm for July;)

Whatever it is I want it ! Momasaurus I'm supposed to be cooking supper but now I have to look up that scarf . Is it naughty or political ? Clue please!

Thank you, fellow silkies, for all the scarf love...:hugs:

Lovely! Ohhhhh, I love it as a necklace! And while we're on the subject, I saw Mai Tai do a necklace with a 70 and a mors ring that is to die, so I'll try that soon. I need more 70's in my life! This looks terrific! Isn't it amazing how flattering that orange is???

Looks fantastic.

Thanks so much ladies. I am color timid but in this small dose I love it. And the design with the left bank cafes makes me smile.

CherryB, this is beyond gorgeous!! I am gasping for breath. These colors are my latest discovery, but of course you are already there. You look amazing !!!! :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

These colors looks wonderful on you cherryblossum, and you wear this design so well, not one we often see here so thank you so much for posting!

Dear, moma and Bova, thank you very much for the compliments on my scarf of today. I'm honored to wear this scarf today, and to be able to show something about France on Bastille day! I feel a little bit sad because we don't have "niche" scarves'week, or minimalists', or artists' scarves week this year. But I finally found some other key words for the scarf like this. I'm glad you like it, and I'm really happy with it:smile1::smile1:

Thank so much!
No Blue!?!? I have never noticed that about your scarves. I would die without blue. :amazed::amazed::amazed::amazed:
Good morning Moma - I have to correct myself {was drifting off to my H dreams when I typed last night} .. I have bought scarfs with alot of blue in the past but I won't reach for them except to pose for SOTD. In my mind, I thought that is not MY color BUT I think I should try to change it now. :giggles:

Cheering for the happiest colour ORANGE
This is a fab 70cm design , wish I'd snapped one up.

In a knot that ONLY MAITAI can actually pull off, and the full carré.

Thank you all for indulging me !! :yw:

I have to add my voice , it's lovely and not at all poncey/overdone !!
Maitai reckons it's a more casual way of wearing it … [ Meaning the bow knot rather than the full drape :graucho::amuse:]

I think this little guy fits in the this week's theme. Les Tambours with the drums of the Garde Nationale, first modeled by Tiny (You can see he was *thrilled*), then me. :p

This is gorgeous Cherry, I have never seen this design before, I adore it!

Meanwhile, here is my contribution to French week. It's Françoise de la Perrière's design La France, a rather bedragged eBay rescue.

I was amused to find, among the many elements featured on it, a snail. As we are dealing with the French here, query whether the snail is there for natural history reasons or as an example of their culinary art...(I do not mean to offend anyone French, but I am always amazed by their ability to turn the most unlikely things into dinner).

I think my dog might be French, he was busy doing this today while I was taking scarf photos. Just needs a nice lemony sauce...

This looks just right on you pocketbook pup, you and Pirula are making me regret not buying this design in this CW I saw recently. I am just not sure about that much orange, but both of you look amazing in it!!
