Crazy for this theme and EVERYONE'S contributions! Here are a couple of mine that haven't been posted already: Les Triples and Regarde Paris...one of my all time faves.

Both divine and setting me off on a hunt , especially the green Paris , those scenes are TDF

And here is my contribution to this week's theme: Promenades de Paris.
How elegant , a real classic and beautifully modelled.

Here is my Napoleon. I'm not really wearing it today, it is too hot.

Napoleon is scarf heaven to me : the bees, the drawings , the Jacquard and the colours . it always feels like a Winter scarf to me , way too warm for July;)

Rushing off to work... Soiree de gala. View attachment 3063204

I have a little time later today (yes, I'm supposed to be working) to play with a scarf I recently acquired, relevant to our theme. Here are two details: fun quiz - does anyone know what it is?

Whatever it is I want it ! Momasaurus I'm supposed to be cooking supper but now I have to look up that scarf . Is it naughty or political ? Clue please!

beekmanhill it is so elegant on you and I'm your twin.

Cherryblossom It's gorgeous on you , the gavroche is really cute.

Croisette Your scarf vaults are unfailing in giving us glimpses of the treasures Hermès have produced over many years.
Twins on Promenade de L , and I have an orange Napoleon , [one of my favourite patterns]
The pinnacle for me is L'Ombre des Boulevards. :cloud9:
I was hanging on for a CSGM but I'm not sure I like any c'way overmuch and some of the 90cm are ravishing….

Lovely, thanks for sharing I love Mosaique and the colour is so pretty.

Impressed on two counts , phone posting and scarf tying !! I love you in gavroches and this one's a cracker.

All lovely in their different ways , orange is always like a magnet to me .As is Soirées de Gala .

Thank you my dear frou frou!

Thanks a lot, croisette7, love your collections.

surprisingly, I only have 3 that fit this weeks theme:
1. Noel au FSH which I will NOT be wearing this week!:graucho:
2. Voyage de Pytheas, (highlighting the mosaic border)
3. Les Parisiennes de Kiraz. (70cm) I love the fun whimsical pix in this!
(wrinkled from loving use)

Feux d'Artifice was a special design by Michel Duchene to celebrate Hermès 150th anniversary , and that special year 1987 was celebrated with a huge firework display and party on the Pont Neuf in Paris.
A model of the Feux d'Artificier carrying 2 scarves was made to grace the rooftop garden at the Hermès flagship store in Paris .

My gavroches hold a special place in my heart , they were the first things I began to collect . This little yellow gavroche is one of my dearest , the details are exquisite and the turquoise and silver metal overlay on the plumes of fire are swoon making!
Apart from all that the colour is amazingly cheery and flattering too , what's not to love?

There was only one run of this design and legend has it that Hermès destroyed the plates after so it is even more precious.

Please humour the multiple images !

What a marvelous story! (And rock on you in your overalls!!!!)

Haha! Not naughty and political, but artsy and satirical ! (Sing to the tune of something by Gilbert and Sullivan)

In a knot that ONLY MAITAI can actually pull off, and the full carré.

Thank you all for indulging me !! :yw:
