Faune Lettrée 90 silk. Birds posing as an F, a penguin posing as an O, and another bird posing as an R!! Aside from the penguin, I can't specifically identify the other birds. Anyone else know??

It's my only Kermit Oliver scarf, and the details are amazing. I love the parade of animals around the border, and the ship and the map and the banners and the vignettes. Also I LOVE scarves with writing on them. And I am a sucker for a scarf with a black border.

What a party this week is with all different birds and interesting and beautiful scarves! Thank you everyone for wonderful contributions! The theme weeks are like art exhibitions and also like a Hermès university. There is always something to enjoy and to learn.

I found only one rooster among my scarves, but many birds! So I'm posting some birds as well.

Black border? I had to go back to "see" it. Yes, love the map, love all maps, really. I own no Kermit Oliver. His work is very painterly and emotional, I am finding.
