My fail scarf is gorgeous, jut not on me. It was hard to even find a pic, the only one is from the day I got it, worn with an unflattering tee.
It is the very bright Jardin Andalusie. I adored the darker CW Tango Tosca posted when the brighter one popped up at the bay. I was new to H scarves and paid a premium for it. Well, I do like aquatic blues, don't I? But this on is just so bright, so summery, when it would be time to wear it it is to hot to put on anything more than a twilly in the hair. I feel overpowered by it. Now I would never get a scarf with this shades of green, lime and yellow.
Last year the Tango Tosca CW was available somewhere but I decided against it
And some weeks ago somebody wrote that with all the fruit and scenery it looks like a kitchen towel brought back from the holidays. Can not be unseen!
I should just pull it out of the drawer to brighten up the dull November day!

@Cookiefiend I am currently traveling but here are 2 archive pix.
1. Navy tee and heathery green cardigan from a few years ago from Brora
2. Again, navy tee but with light blue cardigan.View attachment 3892825 View attachment 3892826
My SOTD: Mont Sanct Michel.
If you know me at all you know I love medieval stuff. This scarf is impossible to find under 4 figures!! But I finally found one, not in good shape (you can see the detached hem). What was I thinking? I was thinking to frame it and hang on the wall (but the colors are not a vivid as some CWs. Instead I took it out to photograph today for you all, and decided to wear it with y new moto. LOL. Second picture is too puffy, but shows the green. Final picture is me going out the door. Red corduroy jeans and black booties. View attachment 3892745View attachment 3892746View attachment 3892748
The last of my possible mistakes (the rest I’m in the process of re-homing already) - Mors et Gourmettes Remix.
I like this scarf but I can’t figure out the color - is it blue or lavender? So I wear it mostly with purple. I wonder - thinking across the color wheel - if it would work with creamy yellows?

oh! Very pretty! It helps to see it against the other colors and it does make it look bluer!@Cookiefiend I am currently traveling but here are 2 archive pix.

Most softer natural greens, greys, 'warm' blues and heather colours, soft grey-pinks too. Any colours to do with the Scottish mountains, any time of year. I thinks it's a lovely scarf on you.
Thank you papertiger and prepster - that means a lot coming from you two!Lol! "Elegantly badass." Brilliant!
That's a great way to tie that. You look terrific. That periwinkle can swing either way.
No need eagle. Didn't want you to think I had forgotten if you hadn't seen it.Yes, thank you, I got in late and rushed to reply to comments here, sorry I didn't get to acknowledge those links which I muchly appreciate.
Whoa! Motorcycle Moma! Who would know you look so pretty in pink too? Love the Mont St. Michel scarf---what a treasure! It definitely has a story to tell, in more ways than one!My SOTD: Mont Sanct Michel.

What absolutely brilliant suggestions. @papertiger , you have such a great eye for color! Can you come over to my house and be my fashion consultant?Looking at this I'm already in the Med.
Switch to a tint instead of a pure white tee you can wear in Summer.
pale leaf green
khaki
pale olive
eau de nil
Aqua
pale lavender
shell pink
natural jute
buttermilk
Chuck on with warm dark brown, olive or black jacket and let it pop on cooler days
If you want to tone down the lime green of your colorway, could you pair it with navy?My fail scarf is gorgeous, jut not on me. It was hard to even find a pic, the only one is from the day I got it, worn with an unflattering tee.

It looks quite wonderful with the light blue cardi (which I would have said was grey... but perhaps that's just my laptop monitor!). The lighter color "darkens" the pattern on the scarf, and since the pattern is so dramatic, I see this as a plus.@Cookiefiend I am currently traveling but here are 2 archive pix.
