One inherited, one acquired. This is the pink one. I had a frightful experience a week ago when wearing the cream one when a gust of wind blew it up to my lips and it got stained by the pink glossy lipstick. I died right then and there. It’s presently at the dry cleaners and I will take pics as soon as it comes back.
I hope your cream-coloured Kachinas returns to you as good as new, fifi! Your pink cw one looks so bright and cheery.

I love your animal! Is that a lapel pin or embroidery or what? So cute and striking!
Thank you dear, it is a Lea Stein brooch.

Never payed attention to this design and now you have me swooning for it!

All so incredibly gorgeous!

Magnificent Pawnee and just love the Lea Stein fox prancing on your shoulder!
fifi, many thanks for your sweet comments!

I love your pink Kachinas. Hopefully the dry cleaners can solve the problem.

What a nice CW! I should look for this scarf as I have Scottish heritage on my fathers side.
This thread is so dangerous!
Then it is a must for you, scarf.

Your collection is phenomenal. Esp love the Plumes and Zebra with the pink suede skirt.

You look lovely! That has happened to me too but not from acts of nature but from my own clumsiness . I'm sure it will be good as new.
Thank you Moirai!

SOTD. Sorry not a feather in sight. Echec CSGM...

Lol indeed i pulled them all out today, put on our king size bed and started taking pics, my DH was going back and forth throwing looks at me, when the bed was fully covered by scarves and boxes, he nervously asked me - are you going to sell them???

Many thanks ksuromax!

Congratulation, dear moma! We are triplets with FrenchSandra.

Dear lovely scarfies, I'm truly enjoying your fabulous scarves for this KO and feathers week! Thanks for including the "feathers" part, McABQ2ATL -- no KOs in my collection (yet).

Wow, what a gorgeous plissé! You look great here, Croisette - as usual!

The lavander top really complements the Plumes CSGM. Just beautiful!
litchi, we are Pareo twins! Many thanks for your sweet compliment!

I have seen very few photos of all the cws for this scarf so I can only guess that it wasn't very popular. Let me know if you ever get the red one eliwon!

Thanks for your kind wishes :-) I did a search again today, thanks to your inspiration, and at a quick glance on Internet I was only able to see four CWs straight ahead - some others could still be lurking in the shades I presume!

Not a Kermit Oliver but feathered nonetheless. Just received today. This is one of those purchases that was just meant to be - Fleurs d'Ecosse by Sylvia Kerr. Firstly, it is the same base colours as my husband's tartan. Secondly, I love Scottish history. Thirdly, it goes perfectly with my victorian stone brooch (these were originally purchased in the 1800s and 1900s by tourists to Scotland) and newer luckenbooth brooch which I bought last year (see pic below). Luckenbooths were once used as a talisman against witchcraft and my gggg-grandfather was a warlock in the Highlands so, again, the scarf speaks to me on another level. Finally, the circular layouts are reminiscent of old Scottish targes, or shields, used by the Highlanders in battle so again reminding me of my more northern roots. All in all a very meaningful scarf to me and one I am delighted to own. Got it at a great price too, which always puts a smile on my face!
I haven't seen this scarf on here since I joined and was wondering if anybody has any of the other cws? The tartan is perfect for autumn! One of the pics shows the traditional feathered brooches that were made with silver and Scottish bird feathers. You could get them made with rabbit feet too but thankfully H didn't use them in this design!

Everytime I see an FP, I want to kick myself for bypassing it. Think I was in one of those phases when the devil on one shoulder whispered: "Don't you have enough busy designs? Look at something different." And the angel on the other shoulder checked my bank account balance and zipped her lips :p

I LOVE this outfit!!!! So chic and cool at the same time. [emoji173]️[emoji173]️[emoji173]️
