Love your Ebay find - the pattern reminds me of one of the cadenas (and a bag) shaped like this H - would be great to do a combo like Lanit does incorporating the cadena as a pendant - jus' sayin' And yes, I AM collecting cadenas, preferably PHWs :-)

OOOOh! Cadena as pendant! Love this idea! Thank you for the temptation Eliwon!

^ I am with you here Elaine and Pudfish! Quite so! As a non-yellow person, I have to get some help from SOTD to remember my yellow ones, not so many, but nevertheless worth taking out from the drawer. Sorry for posting archive pictures (too lazy to take pictures today!), but better than nothing, and I want to participate in Yellow Week!
First Astrologie & Ponts de Paris, second Swing, third Hussard et Cantinière AKA La Treille.

So classy with your striped shirt, love the soft creamy yellow.

My archive pics. Marwari cashmere shawl, Kachinas summer twill, Mogoles, and double side Alphabet mousseline in 70cm. I do love yellow!

All stunning Mimi, I love the indian patterns especially Marwari and Mogholes.

You look so great in all your scarves, that 'je ne sais quoi ' factor can't be bought !

Thank you, frou frou!

My only H yellows, which do not get enough wear as I don't wear yellow if at all, just love the designs.

Beautiful cw of your Fantaisies!

Last blast of yellow:
My very old rescue battered Giverny

And my new to me Amours. I have realised now I need to fold it on the other bias to get bare bottomed cherub action. I am thrilled with it and love the jacquard, but gosh, the silk is very stiff. Complete opposite to the floppy old Giverny.

So pretty on you and congrats on your new Amours!

Six washes with what kind of soap solution? I love the cagey way ebay sellers say "There is nothing that I can smell" or "Nothing bad that we smell."

I started with a mild detergent meant for handwashing silk and wool, but upped the ante for the last two or three, using powdered stuff more meant for dirty jeans in a washing machine :-) I did it all by hand, not a lot of soaking because I've read somewhere that silk is not for soaking - a day or two in a shady spot in the open air did the rest - really quite sturdy some of the old silks apparently :-)
