Today is a day I needed some cheering up as we wait on some medical test results for DH. I head over here for some eye candy and am most plentifully rewarded by the most cheerful of colors - yellow. This isn't normally a color I gravitate towards but I'm learning to appreciate more after seeing everyone's fabulous posts. Like others, I didn't think I had a lot of yellows in my collection but wow, so many use yellow as an accent color! It can really add a bit of "pow!" to a design. Here are a few I can share:
Sangles

Flanerie a Versailles (it's more an orangey gold, but gold is still in the yellow family!)

Amours

Gotta admit, this is the red-headed stepchild of my collection - Chasse au Bois

Flecks of yellow in Minuit au Faubourg

And lastly, my latest precious that I just couldn't help but get - it has a beautiful dash of yellow along with just about every color in the rainbow: Iris cw 08

My one and only yellow scarf, purchased waaaaay back in 1991 (I believe the design is from 1990). Quai aux Fleurs, by Hugo Grygkar.
Yellow isn't even remotely my best color, but it sort of works if I pair it with blues, such as today's turquoise.

Your top is the colour of bleu Zanzibar! Lovely with pale yellow, Elaine! ;)
We're twins, Langsam! I'll wear mine tomorrow.

My favs are that amours and of course the iris moussie!

You look lovely in all of them :flowers:
Got to get myself an Amours  :drool:

Thank you for sharing all you beauties, Joanna! Esp. the Amours!

Thank you for your sweet compliments, scarf1, xincinsin and croisette7! I had no idea Amours would be the star tonight! [emoji5] I will have to reward it by wearing it tomorrow. [emoji23]

You look great in all your yellow scarves.
I hope you get some answers soon, and that the news is good. :hugs:

Beautiful Joanna. Keeping fingers crossed for good news for your DH and you dear.

Thank you, dear friends, for your kind words! It's always scary when something alarms your doctor during what you thought was going to be a very routine exam. The test results are being sent to two specialists; the outcome could range from an innocuous "it seems your normal is outside the typical range" (please let this be so!) to something really, really bad. So I'm trying not to worry until we know we have something to worry about! In the meantime, I'll distract myself with scarves, so please keep 'em coming, folks!

Under the Waves mousse has some yellow - perfect for the hot weather we've been having here. Sorry for the scowl - getting frustrated trying to take a selfie (sad thing is this was the best one!)

You cracked me up with your photo and the comment about the scowl! [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] I know that frustration when a selfie just won't turn out the way you wanted! But you are beautiful, and I hope to be your cousin soon on the moussie!

Elaine, this is so charming! I love all the H florals (we must have a floral week, right?? For some reason, I can't recall). This pairs gorgeously with blue!

Here are my two yellow scarves: Au Coeur de la Vie and Au Pays des Oiseaux Fleurs. These pics are a bit blurry as they were taken with my old iPad. Mind you, the blurring hides the wrinkles!

Many thanks to those who have responded to my previous posts with likes or comments. This is really appreciated. I find it hard to keep up with this thread as there are so many wonderful photos and you all look so gorgeous.

I LOVE THIS! I wish I had jumped on the Hippopolis band wagon! This scarf came out in 2015 and while I was is Paris that June, I had so many other things on my list that this one slipped through the cracks. I will admire yours, sweet lanit. You look beautiful!

Ladybaga, I am so with you on the I-missed-out-on-Hippopolis bandwagon. I pine for the pastel cw with the yellow hem that our dear scarfmistress has. At the time, the yellow hem was the thing holding me back. What was I thinking?! [emoji21] [emoji58][emoji26]

Wow, HermesHope, you look lovely in yellow. It really brightens your face, along with your open smile. (We have similar coloring. Am I going to have to rethink my anti-yellow militancy?)
