That one clever stripe of yellow is perfect on your Sangles en Zigzag, frou frou! How sweet that it's a gift from your husband.
The only H scarf he has given me in recent times , I wear it a lot to show appreciation !

H should use this picture in Le Monde book. Love the yellow Concours! It's truly a treasure.

The Concours is so unusual , never seen such a bright acid yellow in a CSGM . Seeing it modelled by Lanit and others brought it to my attention...

I really like that scarf and you're right - that pop of yellow really lifts it!

Thank you , I find yellow so uplifting !

This photo of you is glorious especially against the neutral h background! So happy to be your twin dear!

You helped me decide !

Twins on both, frou frou! IMO the Zigzag is something special in this cw.

Happy to be your twice fold twin Croisette , we are lucky to have them both.

Is your bracelet called Croisette? There is an H ring of the same design (assuming the photo shows basically the whole bracelet). Looks nice. The HS purchased by your DH looks marvelous, casual, nonchalant, cool.

Thank you Eagle.
Yes , my bracelet is a Croisette ,I think it's a design that has been around a long time and it feels easy to wear.

I love yellow for it's sunny disposition!

I've been reading the Cafe Bon Temps thread and hoping madly that I'm not aging myself with my scarves... so I took 2 pictures [emoji38][emoji12][emoji38]
Cookiefiend, your scarf and top look light-hearted and versatile. A younger woman can wear them with jeans or a short, denim skirt. The first knot looks especially wearable by anyone. But, I must admit, I am partial to the 2nd knot. ;)

These are amazing ABQ- you found the right balance of Creams and yellows that are perfect for u. Love the vintage designs too!

Thank you lanit -- my intro indeed featured some golden (yellow) oldies. For those interested, Cavalcadour [1981] is by Henri d'Origny, Traité des Armes [1951] is by Hugo Grygkar (I think this is a 1987? reissue), Carrosserie [1956] is by Philippe Ledoux, and Les Amazones [1968] by Phillipe Dumas is a reissue (1999 or 2004).
Here are two more yellows, both by Valerie Dawlat-Dumolin (archived as green, not yellow, so I forgot):

Here are my yellow darlings. I'd been thinking recently I need to embrace yellow more.
The yellow hem on this makes me smile

I adore your Bal Masque, Pirula -- and the yellow hem is very unexpected! I knew I had one somewhere in my collex and here it is... on my pastel Hippopolis! (Tied to show the winged H foot)

Orange is a no-go for me, and yellow is also a color I tend to avoid. But actually I realized I can wear lemon yellow( gold not so much). My only truly yellow scarf which has enough blue to make me happy-pays oiseaux fleurs.
After buying this, I bought the under the waves with pops of yellow.
All archive shots, as I will actually be wearing a mousseline today.View attachment 3781405 View attachment 3781404 View attachment 3781403 View attachment 3781406 View attachment 3781401
Totally agree with @bunnycat, blue and yellow compliments each other very well!

Dragonflies

Gorgeous dragonflies!

Twins on the twilly, Bcat! But I usually show the black-and-white parts...your idea is better! Lovely buttery moussie, too!

I didn't consider these cws for the yellow, but now you mentioned the blues in them, I'm zeroing on the blue! A great change on focus and perspective. Thank you, scarf1!

This one perturbed me at first, since it is not symmetric, but I've learned to use most of the parts now to their advantage.
