Thank you, Croisette -- mine also has a wide border, but I've tied it in back and/or folded it to hide the border. This is one scarf that I would consider sending back to H to have cut down by a few centimeters. The design isn't really square, though: it's 68cm high by 70cm wide, which may be why it's printed with such a wide border -- to disguise the asymmetry.
Thank you for your advice amd the trick, dear ABQ.

Orange is a no-go for me, and yellow is also a color I tend to avoid. But actually I realized I can wear lemon yellow( gold not so much). My only truly yellow scarf which has enough blue to make me happy-pays oiseaux fleurs.
After buying this, I bought the under the waves with pops of yellow.
All archive shots, as I will actually be wearing a mousseline today.View attachment 3781405 View attachment 3781404 View attachment 3781403 View attachment 3781406 View attachment 3781401
Both colour combos are absolutely beautiful on you, scarf.

I just love both of these on you, scarf1! oiseaux fleurs reminds me of the kitchen in Giverny... blue and yellow is such a happy color combination! And under the waves is simply lovely in the yellow cw.

Yes, I loved that kitchen!

Thank you Croisette! This one was such a surprise! (It was one of my oh, I really shouldn't but well, let's throw caution to the wind scarves...)

PS- 90's are aging???? :confused1::amazed: I think we need an emergency scarf week to explore that... :p
Thank you so much dear Elaine!!! :flowers:
Oh scarf1- blue and yellow is definitely a win-win combo!
Thank you!

Well done, Cookiefiend. I've been reading that too, 90 carrés are aging ... how silly is that???

Very silly! :p
I am of an age where I should know better, but still tend to be kinda willy nilly; I hadn't thought my scarves were aging me… so - I say they're not!

Ah...yellloooowwww....I used to hate it, now I love it and I've definitely got some yellow scarves. (Pastels on the other hand...eeek...I think I ended up purging most of mine over the last year, but I may still have a couple I will unearth...)

I do solemnly swear not to wear my H cadena this week.

And Capucines Mousse (PM size). It just doesn't get much more yellow than this....

Twins on the twilly, Bcat! But I usually show the black-and-white parts...your idea is better! Lovely buttery moussie, too!

I didn't consider these cws for the yellow, but now you mentioned the blues in them, I'm zeroing on the blue! A great change on focus and perspective. Thank you, scarf1!
