Au Coeur de la Vie. This is one of my brightest and happiest scarves!!

Tohu Bohu CSGM. The colors aren't actually bright. Tohu Bohu, translated from Hebrew, means chaos and emptiness, which is what my life feels like right now. Both my parents passed away within the past ten weeks. My Dad was 96, and my Mom was 92. They were married for 70 years!! I celebrate both their lives, and I'm so lucky they were my parents!! :hbeat::hbeat:

Now another bright and happy scarf - La Marche du Zambeze!!

HNN, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. 70 years together is truly amazing and quite the accomplishment. :hugs:

My brightest scarf is Turandot. Orange (persimmon?) is honestly not the most flattering color for me, but it was the colorway I liked best in this design.
So I wear it when DH and I attend the opera, and I compensate with extra eye makeup and blusher!

This is lovely. I almost always wear an H scarf to the opera but I've yet to find my Turandot. Looks wonderful on you!
I love the bright yellow in my Zenobie shawl. It reminds me of daffodils. (The daffodils are my neighbour's but she's inspired me to plant some tulips in my planter on my front porch - hopefully will have some bright colourful tulips to look at soon).

BJS -Thank you for your kind thoughts. 70 years is amazing!!

momasaurus - I was so glad to be available whenever they needed me. It gave me a chance to pay them back for all the nice things they did for me.

IMG_2003.JPG Most of my scarves are bright, but these are my "colour me happy" ones.
Jungle Love (who could resist those faces), Les Zebras, Les Bal des Oiseaux (they just make me smile), Palio di Siena (great blues and that's a lot of orange!), Chacun fait son nid (just because it's pretty), Cannes et Pommeaux (such a lovely yellow), and Grande Tenue (my 'go everywhere' travel shawl).
The moussies are another posting...

And your scarfs are amazing & looks beautiful on you. I find Au Coeur de la Vie amusing with the cute animals & the vibrant colors of nature.

Hermes Nuttynut, I am so sorry about your loss of your parents. As I understand, you had a good relationship all through life. The more love, the more sorrow when you lose them. You have still all the good they gave you. And bright memories. You have told us this in a lovely way by your words and by your pictures.

Just arrived in the post, fresh from Paris. My Savana Dance pales into comparison alongside this bright beauty. Twins with Hermes Nuttynut on this Marche du Zambèze. I think I need to borrow Pocketbook Pup's sunglasses as it is super-bright! I love it!!!! No more new scarves now until AW. Honest. [emoji7][emoji41]

On a different note, does H no longer produce the Histoire des Carrés booklet? You know the one with the stories behind the scarf rather than just the one with the photos? I requested a copy with my order but they have sent me the one with the photos for SS17, which I already have. Shame, as the story helps make the scarf. Perhaps there aren't any stories this year. ninakt, ElainePG, Pocketbook Pup, and ABQ2ATL - Thank you all for your very kind words. :flowers::flowers::flowers::flowers:

HNN, condolences. :hugs:70 years is amazing. Funny how when we are young we take our parents for granted, now that they are elderly I cherish the time I have, as I realize it will not be forever.

This is my very first H scarf that got me down the orange slope: Le Mors A La Conetable

Twins grapegravity!!! Probably one of the loudest scarves I have and for someone who dislikes orange.... it was love at first sight.

Pautinka, I love it! Why did I pass on Zambeze? I kept putting it off, seeing how it was still on US h.com and now they've disappeared. Oddly enough, scarves from earlier seasons (2+ years) ago are still there. It must have been popular. I could contact my SA, but trying to be good. And failing miserably.....
